I'm working on a end credits for a film and the local production is asking me to add the logo, which I have attached here, into the end roller credits. The only format I was given was the jpg format..obviously I can't use the jpg for DCP output..it will get so pixelated and makes it looks like it's a low budget film. So I'm here trying out my luck...to see if any professionals out there have this logo in AI format. I know most of the films in the U.S has it...this film I'm working on is a co-production with a U.S film crew.Many many thanks!!! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

After all, it won't be very large in the frame... I was told by the DI house they need a high resolution of this logo. And it would make sense, since this logo is only 300kb or so... Premium Member Adrian Sierkowski Posted November 12, 2015 Premium Member Share Posted November 12, 2015 It'll look fine on the big screen for a DCP in all honesty, as most DCPs are only 2K, and this image is let's call it 1.2K as it is (1200pix), so once resized into the end crawl, should be no problem. The only other logo for the end roller is the Dolby logo, so both logos won't be too small on the screen. Karl Lee Posted November 29, 2015 Share Posted November 29, 2015 Not to take this thread off course, but out of curiosity, is there a reason that the IA logo is often, if not always, the only union logo commonly included in the end credits of union productions? Granted, I'd imagine that the IA usually represents a majority of off-camera labor involved in union films, but you'd think that some of the other unions (like the Teamsters, DGA, SAG, AFM, etc.) frequently involved in production or post would want equal representation with their logos in the end credits.
