RAW is always recorded at native ISO on the F55.. 1250.. with the R5 recorder..you can also record internally to SxS cards at the same time.. to which you can apply a LUT or what Sony calls Looks i.e. 3D LUT,s.. or user LUT,s if installed via SD card..

Test. Test. Test.

I have an F5, and although the claimed sensitivity is 2000 ISO, it is actually only 1125 ISO. 8/10 of a stop slower than claimed.

You can see my tests here: http://dreamsmiths.com.au/blog/

Many people seem to have encountered similar issues with the F55 needing to be 'overexposed' by a stop in order to be properly exposed. You need to test this to see. It isn't actually overexposure if you're simply exposing for the actual sensitivity of the camera (i.e. the point at which middle grey reaches it's appropriate IRE value for the gamma curve you're shooting with).

The new Sony's are exceptionally clean and noiseless when exposed properly, so you shouldn't have any issues with noise or muddy pictures if you test the camera in advance, and rate its actual sensitivity accordingly.
