2-Perf Conversion for Arri 235 and Arricam

Looking for any information on converting an arri 235 and an arricam st to 2-perf. Impossible to find a conversion kit. Just wondering if anyone out there still does conversions.

Unlike a lot of older cameras, there really isn't a generic "conversion" available for the 235 or Arricam. Both require movements from Arri, with special gears, belts and of course the actual movement and gate. 2 perf movements for these cameras are worth 10x their weight in gold. Arri Germany no longer has any and they basically refuse to make more. To copy a 2 perf 235 or Arricam movement would be prohibitively expensive and impossible without one in hand for the manufacturer. It's actually easier to find complete 2 perf cameras then it is to find just the movement.

 

I may have a lead on a 2 perf 235 movement, but it would be around $6k USD.
