Stolen lenses!A client of mine just called me to inform me he had a set of Super Speeds that were stolen. Bogus rental. The guy already tried selling the to Adoroma, which I have to say they could of more more helpful by calling the police when the guy showed up and they realized they were stolen. They just told the guy to leave. Dheerankur Upasak
Adorma should act more responsibly . What if they loose a lens set in the future?
Premium Member Aapo Lettinen Posted September 7, 2018 Premium Member Share Posted September 7, 2018 wait, what??? I assuming you're talking about Adorama. This is unbelievable...not good at all. the correct way would have been to told the guy "we need to test all of them on both a camera and a lens projector first to ensure they are in good shape before we can buy them, we can do this right away if you can wait for a moment" , then secretly call the police when the guy waits the lenses to be tested. would catch both the lenses and the person at the same time ;) if this would not been possible, they could just have taken the lens case behind the counter and say that the guy can either wait for the police or run B)
