Sean Dahlberg
Hello All, I was wondering if there may be a better place than Ebay to search for film stocks that are no longer in production? I absolutely LOVE Vision 3 but I've got an itch to shoot other stock. I've seen some Fujifilm Eterna on Ebay, is this probably my best bet? Thank you for your responses! Premium Member Mark Kenfield Posted October 5, 2019 Premium Member Share Posted October 5, 2019 You’ll be able to find some. But it’ll be ooold. So you have to decide if it’s worth the risk.
Premium Member Tyler Purcell Posted October 6, 2019 Premium Member Share Posted October 6, 2019 Ebay has cool stuff, but it's unknown the condition, so it's a huge risk. Old/bad film can make some pretty poor images sadly.

Premium Member Will Montgomery Posted October 9, 2019 Premium Member Share Posted October 9, 2019 Rule of thumb: If you are sourcing old stock, go for the slowest speed you can like 50D or 100T. Faster stocks deteriorate faster. Always stay away from that Vision 800T stock because it hasn't been made in so long any of it will be pretty nasty, unless you're going for nasty then thumbs up!
