Cale Boys Posted August 29, 2020 Posted August 29, 2020 I just received my K-3 along with 3 different filters, just curious on all three do. I'm aware the yellow one would be an 85B filter, though still don't know enough but anyone of them. Cheers ! Images: https://imgur.com/a/bztKDXl
John Salim Posted August 29, 2020 Posted August 29, 2020 Cale, The Yellow filter is for B&W photography, the darker one is a neutral density filter ( all films ) and the other is either a Close-up lens ( check by looking through it ) or a UV filter. Gareth Blackstock Posted August 31, 2020 Posted August 31, 2020 If you are lucky to find an old filter paper catalog, from Cokin for example, then in it you can see a sample of pictures, labelled "with filter" and "without filter" Very handy! A good link is below: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/explora/photography/buying-guide/a-guide-to-filters-for-lenses If you explore the filter types on this page each one comes with a description of what it does. A pretty handy site. Gareth
