The night shots and night for day interiors were all done on Rokinon Xeen's due to the speed and size. The only noise reduction that was used was during the firework scene when they're looking at the trunk getting the fireworks out. That shot was shot LAST and it was very dark and I only had 200T and the zoom lens with me. So we shot it wide open (F3 I think) and it was WAY under, like 2 stops easily. So I just scanned it in HDR mode and added some NR, which worked really well. I wound up using a tiny bit of NR on a few shots right around it due to how dark it was, but that's it. The rest of the film is NR free. The outdoor night scenes were a mix of 500T and 200T. I ran out of 500T, so we just pushed the 200T in post and it kinda worked? I regret doing it, big mistake in my mind, but it's just a short film, really not the end of the world.
