Luciana Contartese
Hello everyone! So, when watching some series, I noticed the skin looked yellowish in an unnatural way. Do you think this happened because the makeup artist chose the incorrect undertone for the actors? Or it might be the type of lighting/colour temperature of the lights? I can also tell the makeup is only applied on the face and not on the neck, but that's a discussion for a makeup related forum I guess ? Thanks in advance. Max Field
The neck and face feel like the same skintone? Skin is probably that yellow because of lighting and the intended color grade.
Premium Member David Sekanina Posted March 30, 2023 Premium Member Share Posted March 30, 2023 It's the light and the color grade, and Fincher's hate for the color pink:
Mark Dunn
Still teal and orange, then.
Christa Elrod
Yes, maybe it is because of the environment's lighting. Try color grading.
Matthew J. Walker
The yellow hue is just a grade they applied in post production.
