  4. Если хотите, можете писать мне по Русски. Идея снимать на 16 мм пленку - хорошая идея. Красногорск-3 - хорошая камера, но для любителя и не больше. В Советское время Красногорск-3 позиционировалась именно как кинокамера для опытных любителей. Снимать ней можно, но нужно быть готовым к тому, что качество материала будет как для любительской камеры. Очень многие операторы прошли через Красногорск-3 и это была их первая 16 мм кинокамера. Хотите что-то получше и посерьезней- советую искать Кинор-16 СХ-2М. К слову, Красногорск-3, в Советские времена стоял около 600 рублей, Кинор-16 - около 10000 рублей. Почувствуйте разницу.

May be, the better, to choose of Kinor-16 SX-2M camera ? 30m, 120 m quick change film magazines, electrical motor can be convert on crystal sync speed, time lapse, remote control. Wide angle lens 6 mm, zoom lenses 7.5-75 mm, 10-100 mm, 12-120 mm, prime lenses up to 300 mm. You can ask me about K-3 accessories and lenses. Lens hood can be hand made only.
  8. I think, to use of 0.7x adapter possible with Meteor-5 17-69 mm zoom lens. Meteor-5 have M77 screw mount from front side and 0.7x adapter can be fit. Any case, you can test. Maximum wide angle of view must be like 0.7x 17 mm = 12 mm. K-3 with bayonet mount can be use with upgraded 16OPF-12 zoom lens 10-100 mm. 10-100 mm zoom lens can have 0.75 x front wide angle attachmnet and work very fine with K-3 + 10-100 + 0.75 x.

  11. DOnot worry about difference between words OKC and OKS. The matter is that, we do not have of standardized version of name of russian lenses on english, thats' why, a some guys use word OKC, because, this is work show like original russian name. But, a some guys translate of russian word OKC on english like OKS. Any case, OKS and OKC two versions of name of russian professional lenses, made at LOMO. You told about M1. You mean Konvas 1, KSR-1, KSR-1M camera ? with OST-18 lens mount. Konvas-1, cameras can have prime lenses of Krasnogorsk factory. Thsi is lenses had name RO-61 28 mm, ( original russian name PO-61) RO-56(PO-56) 35 mm, RO-3-3M 50 mm, RO-2-2M 75 mm, Jupiter-11, 135 mm. This is was very good lenses too. This is lenses have OST-18 lens mount and compatible with Konvas-1M camera too. The russian lens production industry had a few optical manufacturer ( LOMO, Krasnogorsk, other ) and every optical manufacturer had research institutes and design offices. That's why, the every manufacturer of lens had different names of lenses. LOMO had lenses OKS( OKC ), Krasnogorsk RO. But, a some cameras, made at Kransogorsk factory had OKC lenses with original , camera style lens mount. Any case, If you wish compare of 35 mm Konvas-1, 1M lenses RO-56 35 mm and OKS-1-35-1, OKS-6-35-1 ( from set of Konvas-1M camera ) need compare of optical schematic of optical block, diagrams of optical test and results of optical test. And, the test photos can show you real difference of lenses too.

If the lens have name : OKS-1-50-6, this name show, what lens have optical block o OKS-1-50-6 inside. But, a few lenses with similar names OKS-1-50-6 have have different body and different lens mount. That's why, you need check, what kinds of lens mount have lens. The lens mount can be for Konvas-1/1M ( OST-18), Konvas-2M,( OST-19), Kinor-35H and other . The all russian lenses have system of building of name of lens. For example. OKS-1-50-6 show: OKS - the short name of " lenses of cine camera " digital "1" - show number of design of opticval scheme, 50 - the lens of 50 mm, digital "6" - number of modification of main optical scheme. That's why, if you wish know of difference between OKS lenses, you need know of number of fucsin distance ( 50 mm ) and version of optical scheme (1 ). After you can compare of optical chanarcteritics of every version of lens. I have many technical inforormation of russian lenses, optical schemes, result of test and measuring.

A some cine cameras can have motors with speed synhronization from outside signal ( signal of main power ) Possible, you need think about motor-generator set with DC motor with crystal sync speed regulator and generator at one shaft Any case, the main question must be power of motor-generator set.

  16. Hi Guys. I wish inform you about available for upgrade of Konvas, Kinor and other camera motors the crystal sync speed controller with Arri vario speed input. This is controller can have 10, 16 crystall sync speeds ( 6.25, 8, 12, 12.5, 15, 16, 16.6, 20, 24, 25, 30, 32, 33,3, 40, 48, 50 fps. ) and compatible with Arri vario VSU device. The motor can have additional electronic modules - digital film counter, remote control, digital voltmeter of batery. Arri vario VSU device can be upgrade do and can have additional remote control functions with outside display of film counter.
  17. 17EP-16 APK motor included DPR-72-06 motor with reducer 2:1 DPR-72-06 motor 12 v 6000rpm, Nominal torsion torque 400 gram per centimeter. Nominal current - 3 A ( 36 W) Start torsion torque 3200 gramm per sentimeter, start current 24 A ( 288W). The one detail only, the output gear of gear box have plastic cogs, that's why, if the braking torsion torque will too high, the cogs of gear can be cut. From otehr side, we can choose any other, high power DC motor with hollow armature and encoder. Our crystal sync speed controllers have high power output 55v 75A, and, we can build controllers with more high power output too.

  19. The original core of K1/K2 cartridge must have outside diameter of 15.8 mm, and diameter of hole inside of core - 2 mm. The height of core 15.4 mm The roll of film on K1/K3 cartridge core must be do not more 80 mm. The 80 mm roll included 30 m of 16 mm film.
  20. Thank you for schematic, this is very interested for study. CP-16R have DC motor with permanent magnet, optical feed back sensor. But, CP-16R have one crystal sync speed ( 24 or 25 fps ) only and all other speeds generate from second RC generate. I think, the installation of modern microprocessor controller with all crystal sync speeds, crystal sync speeds synthesizer o CP-16R possible. That's why, if the users of CP-16R wish to have modern camera with all crystal sync speeds ( classic cine, NTSC, PAL ) i will glad to discuss about this.
  21. K-3 accessories ( pistol grip, shoulder brace.. ) compatible with K-1 The lens mount of professional cine camera Kinor-16 do not compatible with lens mount of K1/K3 camera ( bayonet ). The upgrade of lens mount of Kinor-16 lenses will ask of additional money and can be don't economically sound projects. The good idea to upgrade of 10-100 zoom lens of Kinor-16 on K1/K3 lens mount, but, this is modification will ask of additional money too. You can find of prime lenses from russian 16SP camera. This is lenses have lens mount compatible with K1/K3, without modification. This can be OKS lenses 10 mm, 12 mm, 25mm, 50 mm, 75 mm But, I must draw attention on simplicity design of K1/K3 bayonet mount at idea to use of wide angle lenses. The matter is that, the wide angle and super wide angle lenses ask of high precision of flange focal distance. Because, the any change of flange focal distance on 0.05..0.2 mm can destroy of sharpness image on film. That's why, the lens must be to press on body of camera with high effort. The design of K1/K3 bayonet mount do not have of high effort of clamping of lens to camera and can have a some gaps. That's why, you can have a some disappointment of shapness of picture and will think about bad optical quality of lens, but, the problems at gaps of lens mount. And, if you think to use wide angle lenses often, and wish have good sharpness of image, i recommed to choose of cameta with lens mount like Kinor-16 SX-2M camera ( Arri PL style ).
  22. The original electronics of 17EP-16 APK motor have 4 PCs and one mather board inside. If the motor run at maximum speed without one circuit board inside - to burn down of output stage of electronics. The similar situation can be with all boards inside. If the electronics burn down, the motor can run at maximum speed or do not run anyways. Yes, of course, you can ask me about repair or upgrade of electronics of 17EP-16 APK motor and any other motors of cinecameras too. P.S The our last generation of microprocessor controllers of motors of cine cameras have Time Lapse function. The controller have 21 crystal sync speeds : 6.25 8.0 10.0 12.0 12.5 15.0 16.0 16.666 20.0 23.976 24.0 25.0 29.97 30.0 32.0 33.333 36.0 40.0 48.0 50.0 60.0 and Time Lapse Mode, with Time of waiting of next shoot, ( sec ) 1, 2, 4, 8, 15, 30, 60, 120, 240, 600 900, speed of Shutter 1/8 s (0.125 s). The controller have film counter and LCD display
  23. The all screws on a Russian cameras have standard metric threads, except, of hole with threads for tripod head ( 3/8"). But, the threads can have standard or short pitch of thread. If we told about mounting screw, - the screws have standard pitch of thread. You can tell me more information about type of camera and place of screw setting and i hope to give you information about size of screw and size of thread. Do not need to replace of metric screws on screws with inch threads.
