It’s the most versatile Super16 zoom I have ever worked with, one of the best ever made for Super 16. It's not a converted lens, it was properly designed for Super 16. It’s really sharp!   5. ARRI 535B - 3perf + 4perf – Complete Kit This set runs perfectly and has been checked and serviced by Georg Bogner (Munich). At the moment the 3-perf-movement is installed. But the set also includes a 4-perf-movement as well.   7. ARRI Munich still has the machine to process 65mm at least in colour. But only as special order. Just send them a mail to find out.
  8. Orwo would be able to cut a masterroll of UN54 or UN74 to 65mm but you still need someone that perforates the stock. Arri in Munich, Germany is still capable of processing 65 / 70mm.

  14. I would recommend AVP Video Transfer in Munich or TF Nova in Wiesbaden. AVP ist maybe the only company in the world capable of transferring Kodachrome properly to digital files.   17. A kinetta Scanner would be nice - 3.3K of resolution - Perfect to capture all the information. HD telecine isn't enough for that. I will try a 4K Super16 scan of V3 50D this month. Does anyone know a company in Europe which purchased a new Kinetta scanner?
  18. There is a lot of color reversal film available. Just take a look at www.wittner-kinotechnik.de for example. And other stocks will be available in the future.
  19. The pictures are soo! beautiful. I love the colors of the 100D!! If you shoot Super16 250D is the best stock for DI. It is perfect for nearly every condition. I never used it in Super8 because of the 200T being cheaper and easier to get here in Germany. Just finished a short movie with 250D (interiors) and 200T (exteriors, night) on Super16 and it looks awesome.
  20. I did a some weddings in the past and I only used 100D once. It did not run smoothly through my Canon 1014 XL-S so I never used it for a wedding shot again. 200T, 500T and now 50D are perfect for Super8. Wittner in Hamburg, Germany is preparing to release a "new" color reversal film in 2013 in addition to the stocks mentioned above.
