James Jeffrey Cotter

I started in commercial film production in 1970 working primarily as a grip but I appeared in a number of bank and political television commercials as an actor. Now I am a waiter, no not really. I am retired from the US Government where I founded and managed a technical operations and surveillance group. Now retired have gone back to my film roots, rarely playing with video, and have a collection of cameras representing my favorites Arri sb Arri m Arri 35II a,b,c,B&H 240 Filmo and Eyemo, Bolex H16,EBM,H8 and Rex 5, Beaulieu R16, Pathe 16mm, DeVry 35mm and 16mm, and some really old ones too. I am always shopping for interesting cameras I used in my career or wished I used. I also am doing some repairs and putz with inventions. I also do a total refurbish on Arri S,M 16BL and 35II's as I know them inside out and still love the precise German engineering and design that they and all the old and new Arriflex cameras demonstrate.
