  1. I'm selling my Angenieux f3.2 25-250mm zoom from ca. 1963. Recently serviced, collimated and modified to PL mount by Optical Support in London. The Ebay listing is here: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/296000722490 Check out my other listings for Ultra Prime 16mm, 435 mags etc. I've got a lot of gear that I am just not using enough and will keep adding to my ebay account.
  2. Low budget filmmaker and happy owner of a recently purchased Sachtler Cine 30 (like new from the Procam auction). Great alternative to the O'Connor heads, it takes heavy payloads and delivers buttery smooth pans and tilts.
  3. Price reduced! £4200 (+VAT UK buyers only). International buyers no VAT.
  4. Arri Zeiss T1.9 16mm Ultra Prime in very good condition. Checked and projected by a lens tech last week, excellent glass and mechanics. Selling it to fund additional lenses for my Standard Prime set. £4700 (+VAT for UK buyers only) with company invoice. International buyers pay for shipping and their country’s import fees.
  5. For sale is a rare Arriflex 435 Advanced 3-PERF Super 35mm camera kit with a FEM-2 and an ARRI MB-20. I bought the camera a few years back from ARRI UK and it is in great condition. I was going to make use of its 150 fps speed capacity for a short film that featured a lot of slow-motion shots. But then the pandemic happened and the project died. It only ever came out of its case for a few slo-mo tests and upkeep. https://vimeo.com/356823500?share=copy I love this camera but am selling it because I’ve got three other 3perf and 2perf 35mm cameras. That and the fact that I just bought a whole bunch of gear at the Procam-Take 2 auction. It is time for this one to go back onto a film set, ideally with an active filmmaker or rental house. The camera is in London UK and a UK sale and pick up would be preferable. I can ship internationally, costs for shipping and custom fees to be covered by buyer. Price: £22500 (+VAT for UK buyers) with company invoice. Included in the package: ARRI 435ES Advanced (3-Perf) Camera Kit Case for ARRI 435 Camera 1 ARRI 435ESA 3-Perf Camera Body 1 ARRI Lens Cavity Cover (PL Port Cap) 1 ARRI 435ES Camera Aperature Cover 1 ARRI 435ES 12V On-Board Splitter (Fitted) 1 ARRI 435ES 24V On-Board Splitter (Fitted) 1 ARRI 435ES Dovetail Shoe (Side Mount) 1 ARRI 435ES Carrying Handle 1 ARRI Camera Handgrip (Run/Stop) 1 ARRI AVF-2 Anamorphic Viewfinder for 435ES Camera 1 ARRI 435ES Wide Angle Eyepiece 1 ARRI Rubber Eyecup for 435ES and Alexa Studio 1 ARRI BP-8 Bridge Plate for 19mm Rods 1 ARRI Bottom Dovetail 300mm / 12" (Balance Plate) 1 ARRI 440mm Ø 19mm Support Rods (pair) 1 ARRI KC-20 24v 2m/6.6ft Cable Power - Straight 3 ARRI 120m/400' Magazine for 435ES 3 ARRI 435ES 120m/400' Magazine Loop Protector 1 ARRI 300m/1000’ Magazine 1 ARRIflex RCU-1 Remote Control Unit 1 ARRI KC-39 1.5m / 5ft Cable for WRC-2/RCU 1 ARRI 435/235 ANSI 2.35 Ground Glass 1 ARRI FEM-2 Functional Expansion Module 1 ARRI MB-20 Mattebox kit Not included is the Hi-Hat and the Miller head. Please DM if you have any questions.
  6. Hi Aapo, maybe more people would buy your products if they knew about them. An Arri S crystal sync motor would interest me too and many of the other Arri S owners I'm sure, as long as they are aware that they exist.
  7. Which manual Mini Follow Focus works with Zeiss Standard Speeds on an Arriflex 235? It needs to reach far enough to the right to grip the focus ring and must be narrow enough not to touch the front aperture ring. None of mine fit apart from the big studio FF 3 which is too heavy for handheld operation.
  8. One is a later model as you can see by the serial number on the front insde ring. Both are 16mm Arri S mount.
  9. Here you can find invaluable info: http://cinematechnic.com/optics/arri_zeiss_standard_prime_f2_t21/
  10. As Luca has noted, this is the correct GG number. I've revised it in my first reply! Enjoy your shoot ?
  11. You can shoot Super 35 4perf with the GroundGlass K2.54083.0 Number 1 on the attached pdf. 2-7-0-ground-glasses-and-masks-ansi-super-35-formats-data.pdf
  12. Looking for a rear element for a Zeiss Standard Speed Planar 2/50 Cine lens for 35mm to replace this damaged one. A long shot but you’ll never know.
  13. Thank you Tim for bringing the home page back! Much appreciated by myself and hopefully the rest of the members. Best wishes, Uli
  14. I liked the idea of having the column on the left with people contributing to the forums and discussing subjects and the other column on the right with all the new market place items. This gave you a clear overview and is what I presume most people are interested in. It is now relegated to one narrow side bar. Can I suggest to go back to the Home page layout and eliminate the main stories and make the left and right columns taller? Or have the ad links at the top? Your decision of course, this is just a suggestion.
  15. Both lenses are like-new and have only ever been used by me personally, never loaned or with a crew. Mostly the 25mm and that only a handful of times shooting my 35mm home movies. They are in great condition optically and cosmetically like new. They come with a custom made insert in a Peli 1400 case. I'm building a vintage Zeiss Standard Speed set and decided to let these go. Price is £4800 excl. VAT. Will supply VAT invoice to UK buyers. For EU and international buyers there is no VAT, but you will have to pay for shipping and your country's import charges and customs fees.
  16. I've contacted Tim Tyler but have not heard back yet. I still can't see the home page.
  17. For some reason I cannot see the home page. When I open Cinematography.com I land on the Forums page and can't change to Home. Anyone else experiencing the same?
  18. Sell your 16S and buy an S/B. Serial numbers above 10000 usually have one B-mount.
  19. It’s a double ended dog leash that I ordered from YupCollars on Etsy. It can hold a Rottweiler and I use them for all my old Arriflex cameras.
  20. It may be interesting to change those blue-ish green lawns to something that looks more natural. Since green and red are complimentary colours, the green might affect the way you perceive the red tones.
  21. For a speedramp with an Arriflex 235 you use an iris control unit. Open iris for the slow motion part and close the iris as it ramps down to 24fps. Using the iris method changes the depth of field as you ramp. If you use the shutter control of the 435, wider angle at slow mo and back to 172.8 for 24fps, the depth of field stays the same. We did the Arriflex 235 speedramp here at 6:27
