ARRI Alexa SXT Plus Camera Kit For Sale LOW HOURS: ONLY 1,544 Asking US $11,500 Pricing this awesome camera for a quick sale - funds needed for another project. IMHO, the Alexa SXT is the best value to get into the Alexa class of image quality. It can do Open Gate (great for anamorphic) and ARRIRAW. It does the internal upconversion to ProRes UHD just like the Mini and Amira, but can offer some higher frame rates than those two (or the previous generation Alexa XT), and can do longer record times than any of those cameras with the 2TB Codex Drives. It's a great option for a B-cam (or A-cam) to a Mini or Amira, and this kit includes the adapters to use the same Cfast2.0 media, the XR 512GB Codex media, or the SXR 1TB/2TB Codex media. The slightly newer SXT-W only adds size/weight to include non-removable wireless video transmission hardware to the back of the camera that most shoots won't use. This camera was previously part of Arri Rental NY's fleet and has very low hours - only 1,544. I paid AbelCine (authorized Arri service provider) to perform an evaluation in February of this year, and unsurprisingly it had been well maintained and AbelCine said "No service recommended." It hasn't been used since. An image of that evaluation is included with the pictures of the camera kit. This blimp is in really nice condition for it's age. I think it'd be a classy display piece - especially if you pick up a wooden tripod for it. This is for a LOCAL SALE ONLY in Los Angeles. I won't/can't ship this heavy blimp, unfortunately. I do not have a case for this blimp, so someone will need to pick up and pay cash (or Zelle) in person. I usually live in NYC but plan to visit LA at the end of April. If timing doesn't work for a sale while I'm visiting LA, a family member can assist with the transaction. I never actually used this blimp, but in the early 2010s I did have an electrician friend who worked at Clairmont Camera change out the cracked old plastic power cable connector on it. It used to have a very old (and unrecognizable to me) power connector, and my friend changed it to a 12V 4-pin Cannon (XLR). So that's the connector that can now power the blimp (to power camera inside and light inside the blimp). I can make no guarantees about the functionality of this blimp and how much it could quiet down a 16S since it's been a while since I did a test run of a camera in it. From my memory, I think one plate was for the an Arri 16S camera, and the other type of plate was for the Arri 16M camera, but I don't remember if I actually ever tested both my 16S and 16M cameras in this blimp when I owned them, so I really can't make any promises there either. If I had the space for this at my NYC apartment (I really don't, unfortunately), I'd keep this and put it on display. As you can see in the pictures, there are some small spots of light rust. You can also see the fabric accordion style matte box bellows have gotten a little rough over the years. This was stored in a climate controlled house (not a garage), but there are a few signs of it's age. Hi there, I recently bought an Arriflex 2C and it came with an extra handgrip motor. Model CRA-6A from Cinema Products which can either work at 24 or 25 fps. It didn't come with a battery nor a power cable and I'm trying to build one myself. It states that it's a 16-24 V & 2 Amp motor but i can't identify what kind is this input power port. It looks like a downsized version of a 3 pin XLR but I could be wrong. Any ideas on what could it be? I don't know if it's readable in the picture but each pin is marked with a letter: A, B and C. I have guessed that "A" stands for the hot pin, "B" for the cold and "C" for ground. But again I could be wrong and I don't want to apply power without being 100% sure since I could fry the motor. Any help is highly welcomed! I'll update if I find additional info on this. Fran Moreno

Hi There, Some of you may remember that almost a year ago I was moving to South America and sold of a bunch of my film equipment on here. I had an Arriflex SR16 with sound blimp for sale but the buyer backed out at the last minute and I had to put the camera in Storage before I left. Now I'm back in the states for 3 months and have it for sale again but now I'm thinking maybe I should keep it but here is the problem I'm having... This one is a bayonet mount camera and I have been unable to buy lenses for it. One reason being that they aren't that easy to find. Now that I live a more carefree life, I want to start doing more short documentaries and films and I'm thinking maybe I can still use this camera if I convert it to super16 and maybe convert the lens mount to one where I can buy more readily available lenses. I like that this one works perfectly, has some accessories and I have the special sound blimp to go with it that reduces the camera noise to zero. Or should I trade it for a super16 camera with a lens mount with more readily available lenses?

Hello! I am trying to get 12V out of my Arri SR2 HS from 11 pin Fischer connector at the back for the accessory, but when I measured the voltage it appears to be only 2,5V :(. For the pinout I found a scan from Jon Fauer "Arriflex SR book" scanned and uploaded in the other topic on this forum. (Original topic with the scheme here:) What is even stranger, the voltage slightly changes, and can even go to zero when I turn the potentiometer knob on a "GLOW" that is on the side of my camera - also pictures attached: Do you have any ideas what could be causing the problem? When I unplug the two wires that power the GLOW, camera will not run. I will appreciate any ideas! Thank you! Adrian
