  1. Hi Gang - I am sure this has been asked many times before but what lenses would you recommend for a Bolex H16 Reflex (non super 16)? Currently I have a Kern-Paillard 25mm (no RX markings on it), but I was looking for something with a wider view angle. Maybe like a 10mm? Thanks a lot! Gabi
  2. Complete Cinema Products CP-16R Camera Package. Reflex standard 16mm body with 1.33:1 ground glass and mattes. New belts, runs great! Angenieux 12-120 zoom lens with some filters 2 400ft Magazines 2 batteries (only one works) and 2 chargers This is a great sync-sound camera as a starter kit for someone who maybe can't afford an SR. The only thing it really needs is new batteries, as the stock ones are pretty bad. Everything else works great and with a lens, it's a hard to pass up deal at $1500.
  3. I’m looking to buy a Bolex h16 reflex one the price range from 200-700
  4. Hey Everyone, Im selling my Bolex H16 Reflex camera body. It has been full serviced, so no need to send it for any type of repair. The prism was replaced with a bran new one when I sent it for a CLA. Camera comes with: -Pistol Grip -Flat base adapter -Filters -Single frame trigger Asking price is $550 + shipping I can send more pictures on request
  5. I’ve created a hybrid… combining 8mm and 16mm parts. I recently discover the joys of the reflex viewer up stream from the lens iris. This allows the image to stay bright, not affected by the iris. So, I took converted super16 and machined out an 8mm film block. The lens’s frame mask was converted to super16 aspect ratio. It all seems to line up… anybody see any potential problems???
  6. OK sports fans... The reflex on the early REX cameras is so small... I hear complaints that with super 16 it's even smaller... I've made some modifications to increase the size... and so far the works best... can see the full image, almost 10X but not quite... but the larger opening at the eyepiece is what really helps. there's no pinching or distortion in the image.... CHECK IT OUT!

  8. This forum is abound with requests for cheep 16mm cameras. Very few however broach the subject of sound. I'm looking for a camera with sound sync and a reflex view finder. I have four 100' roles in my freezer so it would be beneficial to be able to use them as apposed to a camera that only shoots 400' roles. I've shot two short films using the Canon Scoopic. Both projects where dialogue free. From what I've been told there's no good way to sync sound to them. In fact, I was told if you tried the sound would become desynced. is this true? I'm looking for a camera under $500 that has sound sync and a reflex view finder. I'm currently looking at a Bolex M5 with a reflex zoom lens but it's a bit more than i'd like to spend.
