Premium Member Phil Rhodes Posted December 8, 2008 Premium Member Share Posted December 8, 2008 I'm sure I raved about this a while ago when the QT trailer became available - yes, it's fantastic, isn't it? P

Jim Exton
My first thoughts were: that is the best video I have ever seen. Really an incredible job done by the whole visual team.

Premium Member Chris Keth Posted December 9, 2008 Premium Member Share Posted December 9, 2008 It seems that Mr. Miranda's many series of tests with digital equipment have taught him a great deal about working with it. It looks very well done and an interesting story, too.
Premium Member Phil Rhodes Posted December 9, 2008 Premium Member Share Posted December 9, 2008 There is one shot in the trailer where you can see it's a three-chip block - where she's looking through venetian blinds, and they're out of focus; the louvres shade very, very subtly from magenta to green. Matthew Buick
This is by far the nicest video I have ever seen. I love digital imaging technology as much as I love film, and I could really get used to this sort of thing. I do hope the cinematographer makes a HV30 tutorial... Keep up the good work Phil. ;) I think we actually mentioned this shot already in an early discussion of the trailer.
Benson Marks
It's already being nominated for 5 golden globes. This should be good. :)
DS Williams
best "video" ever. If it should even be considered that. It was so filmic it fooled me.
