Daniel D. Teoli Jr.
Dunno, but when you get time give a detailed review. It is the only somewhat affordable option out there for scanning.

This will help retain as much quality as possible.

Jan Ruzicka
I scanned this home-movie I made with the retroscan universal 2k at full scanner resolution then cropped to 1080p, here is the result. I might not have used enough lighting when scanning, some areas are to noisy for my taste but then again I did not use the capturing software's de-noising setting. Daniel D. Teoli Jr.
Looked at film at highest res on YT. Looked pretty good, especially since it was done with a relatively inexpensive scanner. Nice to see sharp grain in your scans. Some of the commercial scans I see have blurry grain. Looks like they don't have the film in focus. They must just slap on the reel and hit record. Edited November 12, 2018 by Daniel D.
