Chris Burke
Yes, reversal. And force with a resolution aceptable.!!! do you mean push process when you say, "force"? I have pushed tri-x super 8 two stops for extremely low light shooting and for the extreme look of it. I did it for clients that wanted a "rougher" look. It yielded very high contrast, high grain image that was IMHO, quite beautiful. It is not for everyone, but can work very well. visit www.chrisburke.net and click on wedding film. The black and white is all tri-x, all the interiors were pushed two stops. With the frame size and compression, it is hard to see the grain, but at full rez, it is there a plenty. Site Sponsor Robert Houllahan Posted December 18, 2009 Site Sponsor Share Posted December 18, 2009 I would add that more than 2 stops is possible by processing with B+W print developer but it becomes very grainy, we only offer a two stop push or pull for B&W Reversal but we have run reversal in the print bath from time to time when customers have wanted the effect. -Rob-
