Macro of water blister?

Recommended Posts

Hi all.

I need to shoot a very close framing of a water blister - with RED. I thought to shoot 2K with 120fps and a 200mm telemacrolens. Someone of you might have better idea or experience to realize the shot. I`d really like to know :-). Thanks in advance!

You may want to research a periscope attachment to help you with both macro focus and low framing. The only source I'm familiar with is Innovision Optics http://www.innovision-optics.com/prod/hdprobe.shtml

As for the bubble, if you want to catch the pop, I'd think you'd want to think Phantom as 120fps won't catch much action on that tight a scale.

There's also the TREX system as well as the Frasier Lens system from Panavision which are similar to the Innovision Optics. I'd say the Frasier is far superior though.

Also the Cinemagic Revolution and, best of the lot, the Optex Excellence.
