Markshaw
I was seriously impressed by the Imax presentation for this movie. Top class.
Daniel Glazebrook
Just came back from seeing it at the BFI. Really enjoyed it - especially the IMAX sequences. Quick question though, there were a few shots, in particular the establishing shots in Mumbai at the docks that to me looked vastly different. They looked so grainy and soft. Did anyone else notice this or have an explanation for it? There were a few other shots throughout the film that aesthetically looked so different to the rest of the film that it "pulled me out of the experience". I was thinking that maybe it happened when it switched from super sharp imax footage to non imax, and so in comparison, of course it's going to look different. Was worth the money just for the Batman prologue though. goosebumps.

However personally I loved those shots. I was pleased when they announced that the IMAX scenes would be left on the Blu-ray.
Markshaw
The same goes for Transformers 2 and Tron Legacy, those IMAX shot really made the whole experience for me. It was like WOW WTF?
Brian Hulnick
Well the bad news is that the Blu-ray will only be in widescreen and not use Imax. Pity.
Adrian Samuals
That sucks big time. The IMAX scenes were some of the best I had ever seen.
Markshaw
They should have left a choice for folks who actually prefer Imax footage in their movies.
John Holland
The only way to watch Imax is in a Imax cinema not at home on Blu-ray !!!
Markshaw
Yes, but if it was shot in IMAX surely they should release it as intended on Blu-ray.
Daniel Jackson
If they can do it for TROTF and TDK why not do it for M.I:4?
