Premium Member Bill DiPietra Posted September 19, 2015 Premium Member Posted September 19, 2015 Hi everyone. Since I'm planning on advertising for freelance cinematography in the very near future, I'm looking to get some basic familiarity with the Alexa. I was wondering if anyone has an e-mail contact at CSC NY (none are listed on the website) so I could introduce myself. Thanks in advance for any help.
JD Hartman Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 (edited) I can ask next time I'm there which should be this week. You're basically interested in paying a visit, trying it out? Talking some tech stuff with he camera prep technicians? Yes. Edited September 19, 2015 by JD Hartman
Kenny N Suleimanagich Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 I'd just give them a call. Ask for Gus (Lynn Gustafson), he's the head of camera rental. Extremely helpful and courteous guy. The whole team there is a class act.
Premium Member Bill DiPietra Posted September 20, 2015 Author Premium Member Posted September 20, 2015 Thanks guys. JD, yes...all of the above.
Site Sponsor Robert Houllahan Posted September 21, 2015 Site Sponsor Posted September 21, 2015 I think there is a GUI simulator on the Arri website (maybe?) the Alexa is a pretty straigtforward camera to run with very well designed GUI.
