Robino Jones Posted August 11, 2016 Share Posted August 11, 2016 Looking for any tips on where to get the Aaton 35 III serviced. Ablecine in Los Angeles are not servicing the camera anymore. I talked to Bernie O'Doherty from Super16Inc and he said he could CLA the camera which is great but I don't think he has a lot of parts for the 35 cameras. Gregg MacPherson Posted August 12, 2016 Share Posted August 12, 2016 If you had to, perhaps one could separate the issue into three aspects....the skills, the special tools, the parts. The guy who serviced them at Abel may still be around. If you could find him, make friends and see if he still has access to the special tools. Parts can come from anywhere, as long as they exist. I spoke with a guy over at Visual Products yesterday and he said they didn't have parts and that they were not servicing the 35 III.
