Matthew Pothier Posted September 11, 2020 Posted September 11, 2020 Any know where I can pick one of these up? looks like a great little camera given all its limitations
Matthew Pothier Posted August 31, 2021 Author Posted August 31, 2021 Bump, I am still interested in picking one of these up -matt
James J Lamberg Posted September 1, 2021 Posted September 1, 2021 They are quite rare. A good friend of mine just picked one up with a nice set of lenses and surf housing. He is also looking into video tap options. I will ask if he will demo for you next time you are in NYC or if he is down to rent or sell at some point.

Premium Member Dennis Toeppen Posted May 4, 2022 Premium Member Posted May 4, 2022 Don't bother. It's a tedious and noisy little camera. Just get a good Bolex and you'll be much happier.
Premium Member Dennis Toeppen Posted May 5, 2022 Premium Member Posted May 5, 2022 Here are three films shot with Ikonoskop: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yltOj1UDsgg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fx3cnz-iDQU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vFeDk_czcp8 - I lost the g.d. viewfinder ($400 or so) and had to shoot this film with no viewfinder. The viewfinder is easy to lose and it's borderline worthless. Oh, and what are you going to do when you shoot with something other than 9.5mm/10mm lens?? There is only one finder, for wide angle.
