Pilvari Pirtola Posted April 5, 2023 Posted April 5, 2023 I recently bought a Fujica ZC1000 which has had quite bad corrosion damage from battery leak. The spring in battery holder and in the body connecting to the holder are completely gone. Now I am trying to figure out how to open the camera body to get access to change the springs, the battery holder I think i figured out already how to fix. Anyone have any repair info on this, or perhaps the repair manual, one seems to exist.
Premium Member Frank Wylie Posted April 5, 2023 Premium Member Posted April 5, 2023 Here is a repair manual for purchase: https://van-eck.net/en/product/fuji-_film_fujica_single-8_zc1000_spare_parts_and_service_manual-_languages-_english/
Andries Molenaar Posted April 7, 2023 Posted April 7, 2023 Don't open it. It is just too much intrusion. Just give it a power-supply through the DIN plug at the rear where the grip connects.
ignacio benedeti Posted August 17, 2023 Posted August 17, 2023 Manual de service is FREE at the end of this article (ZC1000 standard model, not the N model). https://mimundoensuper-8.blogspot.com/2017/02/fujica-zc1000-manual-de-servicio-gratis.html

Who is doing repairs on the ZC1000 these days? My frame counter stopped working on me last weekend. ?

Also, any info on how much there is difference on the N model, I use that currently. On 4/7/2023 at 10:03 AM, Andries Molenaar said: Don't open it. It is just too much intrusion. Had to open it to see how much damage was inside, and the corrosion had gone all through the electronics inside the camera, well beyond my skills to repair so I ended up buying another one. At least I can use the old one as a parts donor, just switched the film door from it to my new unit.

I also happened to find that someone has uploaded complete service manual to archive.org, the one Ignacio posted earlier is incomplete, this one has info on the battery grip and lens as well: https://archive.org/details/fuji-film-fujica-single-8-zc-1000-service-manual-english-ma-2517-1/page/n3/mode/2up 1
