  1. I have actually been on many a day/ext. green and blue screen shots. One that comes to mind was on "The Red Corner". It was over 200 feet long. It was a shame because I really wanted to go to China back then. Bill
  2. Jennifer, Take a look at this. You can get it in Munich were Dedo is based. Use it onboard or hand held. I like it because it has a lens and can be focused. Wilhelm
  3. Tom, That my friend is hilarious, not the part about Tim but the fact that you have a memory like a steel trap. I knew I was there when you mentioned Albert and George and the Fontana steel mill, but not the Xenon incident. Hell, I don't remember anybody on the crew except George, Dana and Mark Moore, all which I see occasionally. Good Times and high concentrations of PCBs in my blood. Bill
  4. It depends upon if you are referring to a burn from the heat or from UV. Most gaffers would be surprised by the UV output of MOST HMI's on the market today. Xenons may also fall into this category. And yes, I have heard stories. Wilhelm
  5. And center the mount to full ap. Wilhelm
  6. How could you ever have overpaid at PV and not have gotten a full refund? Phishy
  7. Luis, Call Dedotec USA in the morning and ask for a DL90-14 bulb. This is a 90 watt 12-14 volt bulb. It will certainly last longer at that voltage but not as many hours that it is rated for. What light head are you using? 413-229-2550 Bill
  8. You can't unless you use a separate receiver. Modulus and Canatrans are UHF broadcast frequencies using a VSB mode or AM and the Titan is 2.4Ghz using FM mode.
  9. Dedolight makes the DLHM4-300 tungsten head that has a built in dimmer and plugs directly into AC mains. If you don't want the color temp to shift, add scrims. Combine that with the DP2 projection attachment that has the framing shutters and you can make any width slit needed. The DPEYE set clamps onto the front of the lens to hold a variety of diffusion densities. They also make a small daylight head for that type of situation. Good Luck Bill
  10. Sorry, Thought we were talking about the 100. Tie down on the bottom is 3/8 as well as the head to dovetail. 3/8-16
  11. How come you ask. Because, it is socially acceptable.
  12. John, The deep cycle battery sounds like the right choice to me. I would get 4 of them and put 2 each in a milk crate and wire them in series to get 24 volts. You could then power many Dedolight DLH4 focusing heads in combination with DLH1X150 soft lights. These lights draw less than 7 amps each and the DLH4 puts out more than or equal to a 650 Arri head. You could burn these till you go into overtime. Good Luck, Bill
