  1. e rare films where everything seemed to gel together very well. I also loved the soundtrack.
  2. I think Clooney did a great job on this movie. Great acting and directing.
  3. I actually thought the IMAX 3D was pretty bad lots of crosstalk and images looked pretty fake (the helicopter scene at the beginning) The movie was outstanding, I especially enjoyed the hulk scenes.
  4. That just about said it all about Scott's view of AVP. I am deliberately trying to avoid watching any more trailers for Prometheus. I want the surprise.
  5. I can't make out if that's a 4:3 or a 16:9 TV in the OP.
  6. I'd rather watch a movie on a biggish screen at home with my pals than be subjected to a cinema, any day.
  7. For a country that can produce such great TV how can the Brits get it so wrong with their movies?

  10. Have to agree about the initial scenes. Very disconcerting, found it hard to focus on anything.
  11. Will be re-watching all the Alien movies to get me in the mood for Prometheus, though I won't really need much to get me in the mood for this movie.

  13. After my Hunger Games experience I have decided never to watch another youth popular movie in the cinema again. Just too many noisy teens.
  14. Not all 1080 P is created equal. It also depends on how it was authored. Blu-ray is generally authored to a higher standard than HDTV and Downloads simply because of the file sizes involved.
  15. The film was fairly entertaining. However the screaming by teenybop girls in the auditorium was very annoying.
  16. Can see that really taking off Stateside, most folks can barely follow baseball.
  17. Period drama starring Colin Firth, Gangster Movies starring Ray Winstone, Romantic Comedy starring Hugh Grant. great
