Hi Jeremy, This is a good question, sorry for my English I'll try to explain, I have a Phaseone, that costs more than a Red, the reason that I shot in s8 is only because I think s8 good scan is the best way that people who do not understand film or digital, and see a difference today in the West is all vintage fashion. For my shoot s16 or s8 is the same for costs in a production like this, I prefer the portability and customer s8, s8 or Alexa gives you the same.

Here the mk-of, shot on Ektachrome 100d and Tri-X, with Canon 1014 xls and 514 xl. This really seems super 8.

Here is another fashion shot with 50d Vision 3. The telecine was done by Ochoypico, the camera used my Beaulieu 4008 ZM2.

Hi roberto, i really like the footage, has a much more organic than other digital sources texture. Nothing to do with HDSLR, for example.

The Schneider Optivaron 6-66/1.8 is the lens that I have on my Beaulieu, is very sharp, a fantastic lens.

Hi David, Yes, I use the pressure plate, but only with Beaulieu. It really is my favorite camera to shoot s8, sharp difference Schneider lens with Canon is great.

Hi David, If I want sharp quality and reliability, always shoot in HD video for today. If you need some organic look for some projects, s8 shoot , I'm going to sell my 16 cameras.

Hi Tom, I have now shot a fashion video with 50d and still looks better than all this, it seems s16 ,unfortunately the client does not let show yet.. That's why I really interested in this camera with a Schneider lens. The filmtransfer is very important, basic to show a good result in the digital medium and also the postproduction of the digitized footage is equally or more important.
