Hi Michael, try 1635 in V Jircharich 8, Prague 1 (about a 5 minute walk from Tesco's in the centre). I know they used to have most Kodak super 8 stocks in stock. The guy there speaks good English and can put you on to a lab that process's super 8. I suppose you know FotaSkoda in Vodickova, not sure but think I've seen some super 8 films in there. There are labs in Barrandov and Czech Television have a lab in Prague 4, but have never had super 8 processed so perhaps worth you making enquiries there.
Don't take my word for it but...... Super 16 I believe is 1.66 aspect ratio, HD is 1.78, importing S16 digitized footage into an editing suite as an HD project you need keep the original S16 aspect ration and crop in to preserve it and output it as the 1.78 (HD) aspect ratio. I'm sure someone here will come in and explain it better
Glen, we all know you are the greatest, we all know you speak fluently in severall languages, we all know you are going to produce the greatest VV movie ever made, but please please please, come back when you're sober
Makes you wonder whether they actually did test it Ian, the Vimeo footage looked great. I know from previous threads you have a K3, is that the camera you shot that with ? and if so what lens was used ?
Looking very good Alex. That commercial will doubtlessly get you a lot more work. I know a job's a job, but here's hoping you get nicer products to promote now
Just gave you a star in your profile Karl, it shows up there as a four but doesn't seem to show up here. Having had a look, it seems the sustaining members don't seem to be rated (wondered why I didn't have 5 showing )
Walk into any electrical store with 50 new TV's playing the same programme and no two will look the same. Use a calibrated monitor when you're doing the shoot and another when/if you're doing the editing/grading
To guess a ball park figure about what is over and what is underin a shot isn't that difficult, but to do it your way in Photoshop would also need the 'dialling in' of the stocks used
