  1. Hey there ? my name is Janosch Simon i still love 3D and have my 3D rig nearly running ? the lenses i chose for the start were Olympus 14-42 EZ. i use them with 2 Blackmagic Micro Cinema Cameras side by side. Im fazinated by the idea of zooming while filming. That would be possible with the expansion port of the BMMCC but the quality of the lens and the lens mechanics is very bad ? then i saw that DZO makes some MFT cine zooms and now im looking or searching for a synchronoized focus and motor controler. Are you guys aware of any? i used google and searched here but perhabs i didnt use the right words ? thx and take care Janosch Simon
  2. WARNING: MATURE CONTENT. Speed Date is a black comedy about Jack and Natalie who approach their allocated time together with different mindsets. What could go wrong? [Best with Headphones] Shot on a Blackmagic Micro Cinema Camera + Sigma 18-35mm Lens.
  3. Hey guys, I have a SpeedBooster for the Pocket and the Micro for sale, Canon EF lens version. Asking price is 450€ I'm in Italy and I can ship to Europe for fair prices and even WW if needed (postal or UPS). BTW I also have a brand new Wooden Camera cage for the BMMCC plus the Wooden Camera PL Mount Pro kit for it in another thread.
  4. Hi all, I wrote a how-to guide to set up the Blackmagic Micro Cinema Camera for wireless DISTANCE-ACCURATE focus pulling via SBUS. It will give you the same kind of control like a Preston or a WCU. It took me two months of research and tinkering to come up with this setup. I hope this guide will be helpful you. http://www.jack-lam.com/blog-post-2-1.html I’d love to hear what you think. Jack

  6. Not to be confused with a ‘stylized look' LUT – I created the BozBMDFilm_to_Rec709 Utility LUT to bring out the organic contrast and color values captured by the BMCC / BMPCC in Film LOG or RAW modes. In addition, the LUT strives to preserve highlight and shadow detail [with emphasis on softer highlight roll off] while safeguarding image quality and integrity. [RAW video by John Brawley] Though it's not free, It's still cheaper than a Golden Arches Meal and definitely worth a look even if it's just to see more examples of how the LUT works. 7. Hi all! I’m DPing a short road trip film next year that takes primarily in a car in the desert. I have some experience shooting in a car before, but would love any advice, input, or words of wisdom that you all may have in regards to doing it right and/or better. Moreover, if any of you have any car scenes from any film or show in mind, I’d love to hear them so I can study them as a reference. This is a low budget indie short film, so any advice on car rigging on a budget is much appreciated. I’m primarily looking at the Blackmagic Micro Cinema Camera as our main camera as it can easily mount to the hood and doors with a standard suction mount, and it's small enough to mount inside the car for various creative angles. In conclusion, I would just love to hear about your experiences shooting in a car, rigging cameras inside/outside a car, and any wisdom you might’ve learned through the process that you wouldn’t mind sharing. Thank you all in advance! All the best, Dante
