Premium Member Matthew W. Phillips Posted May 11, 2016 Premium Member Share Posted May 11, 2016 Angles and movement are very slick. I dont know if it is just me or not but toward the middle section, there was quite a bit of switching between dolly shots in a row that felt a little jarring. It just felt like there should be changeups between it. I guess its all a matter of opinion though.
Andrew Trost
Thanks for the feedback Matthew! I'd be lying if I said I don't constantly struggle with creative choices like those in a reel. Just want to keep working and learning in the hopes that one day I'll get it right.

Premium Member Tyler Purcell Posted May 12, 2016 Premium Member Share Posted May 12, 2016 Nice! One little "reel" tip, keep the same shows/sequences together. So the girl walking up to the window, you should start with the wide and go to the close up back to back. Then show a few shots of the little boy, then the next and so on. This way you're not going back and forward between shows.
