Jean-Louis Seguin Posted September 26, 2007 Posted September 26, 2007 I have an Eclair NPR camera with a BEALA motor that seem to have a problem. The motor run only on variable speed no matter what position the interior/exterior switch is set to. It doesn't seem to run at crystal sync speed. Has any one ever seen this problem and could anyone recommend the best technician who is familiar with these old motors. Thanks. Jean-Louis

Premium Member David Auner aac Posted October 7, 2007 Premium Member Posted October 7, 2007 Montreal, Canada You could try Bernie O'Doherty of Super16 Inc. who is on the boards as well. He's an expert on NPRs. And of course you could ask Clive Tobin our local motor expert :D. Cheers, Dave
Clive Tobin Posted October 7, 2007 Posted October 7, 2007 ...you could ask Clive Tobin our local motor expert... Thanks but we are only offering service on the motors we have built ourselves. We are swamped with orders for our TVT telecine machines. Anyway we never had any service instructions for the Beala motors, and they made frequent undocumented design changes. Cheers,

Cheers, Hi Clive, bad luck. I figured you might have some idea. Good to hear that your TVT machine sales are coming along. Have fun fulfilling all them orders! Cheers, Dave
