Matthew Buick
Just like my DSLR thread, but this one is about film SLR's. In fact, any kind of film camera. Nikon FM2 + Soligor 28, 35mm dual-focal, Nikon 50mm (rather nice!) and a Tamron 100 - 300mm zoon. Thanks! Jim Keller
Oh, geez... on that front my closet looks like a camera store exploded. Every negative size from APS to 4x5, and every brand you've heard of and one or two you haven't....
Premium Member Paul Bruening Posted January 10, 2009 Premium Member Share Posted January 10, 2009 Like you, Matthew... Nikon FM2. I really love that camera. I just never use it anymore. I feel like I've been cheating on it, "Sorry, honey. But, I've fallen in love with another camera." "Another camera? It's one of those new, digital hussies, isn't it?" "It's not a hussie. And, yes, it's digital." "You bastard!"
Alex Haspel
yeah, i know, it is not SLR, but i feel like it... i got a rollei35, it is hardly bigger than a pack of smokes and is fed with normal 35mm cartridges. Also I forgot to mention my other film cameras: Canon 310XL Canon 814XLS Elmo 110R Sankyo CME 1100 Olympus Trip 35 Hassellblad 205 FCC.
Premium Member Stephen Williams Posted January 10, 2009 Premium Member Share Posted January 10, 2009 Firstly, you're a very funny guy Paul! Secondly, is your FM2 black or silver? And what about you Mr. Williams? The F2s are black, the paint wears off so the only mechanical camera I ever bought new the FM2n is silver. Mr Williams makes me sound very old! I used to have an RB67 with 110mm & 180mm lenses, I actually sold them for a profit!
