JD Hartman
Where is it being made? Yes, I could probably dig through their website and find the answer or I can just ask here. Rochester, NY? Or is it all being made in bulk in China and repacked here? On another forum, a former Kodak employee is claiming that the plant exists as nothing more than a shell for repackaging and all the equipment was sold off long ago. Heikki Repo
In Rochester N.Y., Building 38. There are no other Kodak MP film factories left elsewhere.
Premium Member Tyler Purcell Posted February 25, 2017 Premium Member Share Posted February 25, 2017 Kodak does make film (and other products) in China and has for many years. Most of this product is used for other industries outside of motion picture however. I'm pretty sure all motion picture products are made in the USA, as it says so on the can's of film you buy. It's a very small market compared to other products Kodak makes.
