Has anybody ever tried to shoot regular d8 film with an old double perf camera. I have a few old Kodaks that want to check but don't want to buy a full 100' roll just for this. I mean, perfs are THE same, just twice as many.

I have tested Photo Sonics 1VN with D8 film. no problem with the perfs. If the camera has a sliding type of claw then it might have a small influence but 99% of cameras should not matter as long as the lab knows what you are doing and does not assume that the film should be real D8 film and should thus be slit in two after developing ?

Thanks Aapo, Dennis and Mark. Could the double Effect have something to do with the magazine in the BH 200?

I suppose anything is possible. I like Mark Dunn's theory.
