  1. They don't specify what kind of net he use, perhaps his choose after testing a lot of nets (color, density, textures, etc)... Another interesting thing is "he mounted two peanut bulb (i don't now what kind of light is, anyone knows?) on the support bars and aimed at the lens on the net" using dimmers... Xavier
  2. Hi Francisco As John say you could find some info at ASC magazine october 2007, when i read this article i found an interesting lines in this issue where you can find an artistic use of the nets: "Much of the film was shot with a very fine net stretched across the lens, out of wich Adefarasin cut a custom hole for every setup. Then he would tease aout some of the strands to give the hole a soft rim, throught which the key point of interest in each shot would be framed "the effects is very slight, but it adds a little mellowing to the image, especially the edges" I think Remi Adefarasin did an terrific work Xavier Plaza
  3. That's a great light, i work with this lights last year in a couple of projects... rocks!!, but you have to take time to explore how it works and what kind of effects could be make, but that's only time (pre-production)

  10. Yeap agree with Adam the interviewer miss a lot of moments where he can deepen and extract some artistic and technical susceptibilities, anyway great link thanks Jason
  11. Hi Ruby, all depends what kind of mood do you want to reach. If you wanna light for an interview for 2 or 3 people I would use a Kino Flo (4bank 4ft) over the camera or a couple 4bank kino flo on each one side... I think your key for this kind of setup is use your source with diffusion or bounced that helps you to avoid shadows on your subjetcs... Then if you want you could add a kickers or backlight or whatever you want... Xavier
  12. Hi John , I´m agree with Michael and San kino flo at exterior day light is your worst option... i think... If you want a soft light (fill) at exterior with 1.2 HMI could be a poor light i guess you better can use a 4k or 6k HMI but yeah i know production problems... <_<
