  1. Great pricing, only if there won't be any import duty/tax from Russia to E.U.
  2. Hi, I know only about FILMLAB.HU in Budapest, which costs 180 EUR (exc. VAT) for 2K DPX scan on Scanity for 1 roll of 35mm 4 perf (122m) For the same service Listofilm in Vienna charges 450 €. Synchorfilm charged 120 €, but they are now closed.
  3. You can also use analog wireless system - Transvideo Titan, which are very cheap these days (200 €) and has far more usable range than Teradek (exactly about twice the lenght). It's also simpler solution.
  4. Hi I can offer my super16 Arri SR1 with P+S Technik super16 conversion (in 2010), PL mount and integrated Visual Products video assist. Full kit with 4x magazines, case, rods, base plate... for 2000 Euros
  5. In Vienna, Austria there is Synchrofilm.at which is working full speed and still will be, "untill film still will being manufactured" (as they say). They're doing ECN-2 and B&W and scanning at Scannity and Spirit. In Budapest, Hungary is filmlab.hu still working.
  6. It's really a great camera. Real Arri stuff. Everything works just it should. Although you don't have simple MENU for changing parameters, and it don't records sound (anyway, why camera should ?), it's a great piece of engineering. As ARRI advertised it - "digital film camera", you are shooting with it like with 35mm film camera, rather than like with digital. And THAT is the thing I like :-) And have I mentioned optical viewfinder ? :-)
  7. Just the simple Atomos Samurai for recording single stream SDI 4:2:2 to ProRes 422HQ
  8. Hi, my friend is selling his Scarlet kit, in mint condition, low hours, never rented. Located in Slovakia, Central Europe. https://www.kitmondo.com/used-red-scarlet-x-for-sale/ref638020
  9. Hi, mount on these lenses is standart Arri PL, I've successfully used them on 435, D21 and URSA. No problems whatsoever. They are sharp wide open, contrasty and flares a little bit weird, not the nicest ones. But these are proper "cinema" lenses, not the rehoused photo glass. They breathes only slightly, nothing noticeable.
  10. Hi everybody. After reading this topic and hunting all the information about D21 online, I can get, I'd decided about one week ago to buy the D21. I've bought it from Arri media UK, they've even changed sensor cover glass for me (and for free) - all in all, for the price €2500 it was a bargain :-) I've got a lot of cameras (probably like many of you, guys :) ) - SR1, 435ES, Bm URSA But I really like the optical viewfinder in film cameras, so I wanted to have one in digital too :-) Anyway, camera've come to me and I've made some fast tests - including this one: You can see how it can handle highlights really well. Shadows, well, that is another story... I think -3 EV is usable, but -4 EV and below, there is a lot of noise. I'm going to make some noise reduction tests for shadows areas, using NeatVideo. I'll post, when it's done.

  13. Hi, I'm selling my trusted Zeiss zoom for 16mm and Super16 (as well as digital) format. Everything is in the describtion on Kitmondo. https://www.kitmondo.com/used-carl-zeiss-vario-sonnar-10-100mm---mutar-2x-tc-for-sale/ref608357
  14. Phil, go for it and you won't regret it :-) Just for my curiosity, how much it costs now ?
  15. And regarding primes, I think that technically they are equal. But the zoom has got other overall look, mainly because of depth of field - it's 2.8 and you should close iris one stop so technically you're shooting at f4 but with primes at f2 (Zeiss superspeeds T1.3) But I haven't used zoom and primes side by side at exact the same aperture, Anyway it's really a great zoom.
  16. Hi Phil, Yes it's a modern lens. I own and use Canon 7-63mm f2.6 and that is the twin of 11-165m, the wider one it's completely superb zoom lens, one of best ever made for super16. It's not converted as you wrote, but properly designed for super16. You can get as much sharpness of it, as this format is capable of deliver
  17. Hi, Bolex cameras can wear out if you use them for single-frame operation. They can do it, but they haven't been designed for this type of work. Eclair NPR, ACL or Arri SR1/2/3 neither. Aaton LTR and XTR models can use their phase circuit (0,5 fps, 1/4s) for time-lapse work. You can use either Cinematography electronics, or Eshot intervalometer. Both are great devices. When I used Aaton LTR with Eshot, footage came with bad registration (i.e. stability), I had to used postproduction stabilizator to correct it. This problem could be just mine LTR.
  18. Hi, I'm using this adapter on Blackmagic Cinema Camera with Fujinon B4 HD lens and I can confirm it produces very nice images :-) Cheers..
