  1. When I first saw the trailer for Hugo I was expecting the little girl who was in Kick Ass (Chloe) to break into a potty mouth tirade.
  2. Yes, but if it was shot in IMAX surely they should release it as intended on Blu-ray.
  3. My friend insists that his 720P Blu-rays (projector) look better than anything offered on Apple TV.
  4. I also dislike 3D, however Scott may know just how to use it, especially as he consulted with Cameron on this matter.
  5. Was a little underwhelmed by the movie, though the girl friend loved it. A little too kiddie friendly for my tastes.
  6. They should have left a choice for folks who actually prefer Imax footage in their movies.
  7. The good thing is that if the TV is screwed and there is no color, it doesn't matter if they are showing chess :)
  8. Slightly off topic here but I was wondering did Christopher Nolan learn his craft in the UK or USA?
  9. Heres a link for 3 different trailers. http://www.blu-ray.com/news/?id=7946
  10. Le Carre was actually a cold war spy, so he obviously knows a little about the business. Translates well to his novels and films. I loved the movie The Constant Gardener.
  11. It was nice of them not to charge you the new fees, something they had every right to do.
  12. The same goes for Transformers 2 and Tron Legacy, those IMAX shot really made the whole experience for me. It was like WOW WTF?
  13. I watched Ides Of March, Contagion and Traffic over the weekend. There is a definite similarity in styles as far as directing are concerned. Something certainly rubbed off.
  14. That's more than can be said of poor Anna. Her skin is looking pretty ropey, especially in Hi-Def.
  15. Always held Ridley Scott in very high regard, I don't think I will be disappointed.
  16. Its definitely one of those films you either love or hate.
  17. With all this happening, how is Fujifilm doing?
  18. I was always under the impression that there would be a sequel to the Devlin/ Emmerich production. I do remember that it was on the cards.
  19. I suppose he just found it easier and safer just to executive produce. Old man gets lazy and plays it safe syndrome.
  20. Always had a soft spot for Kim. As did most hot blooded males, and females.
