That sucks big time. The IMAX scenes were some of the best I had ever seen.

Shooting video of the night sky is very hard to do successfully. I tried to film the meteor showers in Nebraska a few years ago and it was virtually impossible, even with the amount of meteors whizzing around.

There are many good and reputable film schools around the country, it's just a matter of doing your homework before enrolling.

There's very little 4K material available to watch, apart from a few odds and sods on youtube.

those cross dressers were pretty scary looking individuals. Wouldn't wanna bup into them in a dark alley in the mid of night.

Hence why there is sometimes footage shown in trailers that is not seen in the final film.

Although he has denied it, I'm glad that Ridley has gone in this direction, showing the Genesis of the Alien world. Any idea who is supplying the score? I enjoyed Goldsmiths original score. Minimalistic and eerie.

I love British/ Euro type thrillers. That's why I loved the Bourne series so much. No need for over the top explosions.

How much of a British production was Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy seeing as it was previously a British TV drama?

I used to meet up with friends once a week to watch a movie at the cinema, any movie as it was the fun of going out to the flicks. However with the ever increasing ticket/popcorn/ snack prices we meet up round one anothers places now. More fun anyway.

Think I'll just give it a rental when it comes out.

The Kings Speech was a great British movie, it even stated that it was financed through the National Lottery Fund.

Well it seems that Blu-ray sales (not downloads) are going through the roof, even in these dire financial times. I think it's just cinema ticket sales.

Gallipoli was a very good movie. It was quite sad when the BBC announced that the last Anzac had passed away.

Unfortunately, these Amazon deals are killing the Ma and Pa B&M stores. They simply cannot compete with them.
