Hello! I have recently come into possession of an Arri SR2 and have noticed the top handle is loose. It's an ex film school camera, and it looks like someone has stripped the thread securing the top handle and maybe removed a nut? The top handle is attached to a beam splitter which accepts a Videotap. The one attached os a CEI Color V. Is there any way of repairing the top handle without sending the camera for a full CLA or is it something that would just need to be replaced? Appreciate any advice!! Also if anyone knows how the CEI Color V performs as a Videotap would be keen to hear your experience! Lens dates from the 1950s and is in excellent used condition. Recently serviced by TLS and fitted with a standard TLS front cap. The optics are clean, but not immaculate. There are some very minor cleaning marks, but nothing that effects performance. Focus and aperture operate as to be expected. Comes with a generic Arri-S rear cap. Hi guys! I recently bought an Arri 16 BL EQ and am wondering about the mode switch you can see in the image, which is for making "quick changes between sound speed and non-sync speed" as the manual says. But it doesn't say which is which. The switch has three possible positions. It can be parallel to the body, one step to the right and even more to the right (in an almost 90 degrees angle to the body). Does anyone of you know which of these possibilities are for synch-speed? My goal is to be able to record audio digitally independently with an external recording device and to then line it up with the image. Thank you already!

Hi everyone, I have a S16 SR2 with the SR3 lens support system that has two small rods (see picture attached). I was wondering what kind of thread was needed for 15mm extension rods ? Optex rehoused Canon FD 135mm f2 - Arri PL Originally made as an additional focal length for the Canon K35 lens sets. One of the best compact vintage cinema primes I've owned - small, light weight, with decent mechanics and usable wide open. Optics are clean, unmarked and bright. I'm only selling it as it's an oddity in my lens set, being an FD it doesn't match the other lenses I'm using day to day. It's one lens I'll happily keep if it doesn't sell, but I think it will probably get a lot more use with someone who is using Canon FDs or K35s as their main lens kit.
