Here's a new music video that I shot, edited, and directed.
I shot it on color negative Super-8 & double-super-8, and color reversal regular 8mm film. All of the visuals were accomplished through 100% analog film techniques, with vintage effects filters, multiple exposures, matting, and hand-painting on the film.
The cameras I used: the new Kodak super-8 camera, Nikon R10, Minolta D12, Canon DS8, and a Canon Cine Zoom 512.
My passion is to continually push the small grain film beyond the limits that I've found. I'm super proud of this one. If you like my work, follow me on IG: @errenfranklinfilms

Thank you for sharing, I enjoyed it very much. Same as Samuel, it reminded me of when I was experimenting with Single 8 back in the late 70s when I was a teenager. Never this accomplished though. Terrific!

Love it. THIS is art. Folks, if you want great music videos, all you have to do is show a bit of hard work and initiative and shoot on Super 8 or 16mm. The rest is automatically art. The art happens naturally if you shoot film.

Me too as well about the memories. Started in the late 70s on Super 8. January 1979 to be exact. Hard to believe Kodak nearly disappeared. Film is pure magic.
