How to rig large solid to celling

Hello,

 

What are some ways to rig a large solid (like a 20x20) to a celling? No frame, just the rag perhaps attached to some speed rail?

 

The idea is to create as much negative fill as possible (keep the light from bouncing off the walls) and keeping the interior as dark as possible.

 

I have attached a picture of the space.

Paint the ceiling black? Paint it back when done.

Use lightweight black plastic tablecloth material, the type caterers use sometimes wrapped over and taped up on a fold-up table.

Yep, sure is. I'm sure my gaffer would build some crazy rig out of c stands, a bunch of clips and black duvetine. :P

Get those 3M kitchen hooks. gentle to wallpaints. 3 on one end , and another 3 on the other end of the wall.

 

Puncture ur black fabric (textile shop) with holes and then tie a simple knot into the hole and then tie to the hooks. make it stay as flat as possible
