  1. reviving old thread - Does anyone know the filter thread sizes for the full mk1 s16 superspeed set?
  2. Interesting thanks for the tip. Do Kodak stocks age better in the freezer? Vision 1 and Vision 2?
  3. So is this concept of 'freezer fresh' not really accurate then? I've seen projects shot on old stock that turned out beautifully, like the videos linked below shot by Evan Prosovfsky both on what I believe was older Fuji stock nicknamed 'bubblegum'
  4. Hi all, Anyone know of a collection of a chart or collection of screenshots etc, comparing the qualities and colors of the older lines of these stocks? I see quite a bit of freezer stock from the 80s and 90s and curious to know what these films look like/are designed to look like cheers
  5. Bought a lens from this guy on FB and he just never sent it, ripped me off for $250 ?. Enjoy the money Adam.
  6. Selling my TLS arri standard adapter - this is a great piece of engineering, works perfectly. Asking $550 USD, DM if interested!
  7. Hey all just putting the tendrils out - looking for a set of MkI s16 superspeeds - Arri B/S or PL - used condition welcome! cheers Steve
  8. Hi all - looking to ditch all my old primes and pick up a nice s16 zoom, something like a zeiss 11-120 or one of the canon s16 zooms. Ideally looking for something that's seen some action - isnt in perfect condition - and so comes with a lower price tag. If you've got something like this you're looking to get rid of please let me know, cheers!
  9. Hey all, looking for this sachtler quick release plate, anyone looking to part with one? cheers Steve
  10. if any purchasers are looking to resell I would be interested ?
  11. Does anyone know if this service still exists anywhere?
  12. ISO second-hand tiffen ultra con #3 & warm soft fx #1 matte box filters - 4x4 or 4x5.6 preferably at a good price ?
  13. Nice - yes I've had my eye on the Black Magic - although I didn't know they made standalone recorders. I just need something on camera for playback, doesn't need to be a high fidelity file.
  14. Anyone have any thoughts on this? I'm looking at all the Atomos stuff but they make you buy all the bits and pieces separately, seems like kind of a cash grab. Fully willing to DIY something if necessary thanks! Steve
  15. Not sure if anyone is interested in buying some beat up old lenses that need servicing but I've got a Zeiss Jena 50mm f1.5 and a Kinoptik 5.7mm f1.8 - both arri std mount - that I'm looking to get rid of for cheap Picture link: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/12iZ6OrIXMPhnk5SK6U9MKqV8LseR5CPw?usp=sharing The Zeiss has an issue with the focus, its not working with my Arri-S > PL adapter, also there are some bubbles in the glass and it's yellowing slightly. Not entirely sure what the issue is with the focus but it could be a good project for someone with the knowledge and time to flip lenses The Kinoptik - which is a fixed focus lens - is calibrated to focus only several inches in front of the lens. I brought it to a technician to get it adjusted but he didn't know what to do with it! Anyway there's also a small chip out of the front element and some small amount of fungus it looks like on the rear element, although I don't find these issues affect image quality I'm thinking $250 each?
  16. Thank you Charles, board god, I should have known you would be the man to talk to about this Very nice, is the Fotodiox also quick release? This QC'd unit wouldn't require any shims?
