  1. Just wondering if anyone has expierience with using Illuminas alongside Superspeeds and which one would be better. It'll be on a Krasnogorsk 3 with Pl mount conversion on a helmet cam pov rig. And many shots will be in low-light wide open, and just looking for which will be sharpest. And if either have odd quirks which might negate the others image quality.

  3. Asking $6,000 USD.I bought this lens a few years ago and intended to rehouse it with GL Optics (they're up to Mk V now and the mechanics feel really solid to me), but plans have changed. I personally love the look Lomo Super Speeds create, although I haven't shot anything with this particular lens. Here's some great sample/test footage showing how beautiful the Lomo Super Speeds are (this footage was not shot with this specific/serial number 75mm) https://youtu.be/IZZzro92hgoLens glass is in very good/excellent condition. The housing is a bit odd, but that shouldn't matter if you're just getting it rehoused. As you can see in the pictures, it has hand-scratched/engraved markings on the front, but these do match the lens cell inside as confirmed by an evaluation at Indie Optics in January of 2022. It's currently marked in Meters (not Imperial/feet and inches) and both iris and focus barrels feel smooth enough. The iris is 12-bladed and so stays circular throughout the range - it does not create a ninja-star or sawblade shape at any stop, as I've seen with some Lomo Super Speeds, which is a good thing for my personal tastes. While the front telescopes a little bit when you pull focus, the front does not rotate from pulling focus. It focuses in "reverse" like Nikon lenses. And the front does rotate when you adjust the iris. There are no focus or iris gears. Again, I'd recommend rehousing to any potential buyer.I'd prefer an in-person NYC sale. I can also ship within the U.S. (2nd preference) or abroad (3rd preference) if you pay the PayPal fees and shipping with insurance. I may also be able to coordinate an in-person sale in Los Angeles through a friend.I'm also potentially open to a trade/partial trade for a Cooke Speed Panchro 18mm and/or 25mm (Series III only) in very good condition, either not rehoused or TLS-rehoused. I'm not interested in any other trades at this time.I also have available for sale the pictured mount adapter that is OCT-19 (lens) to Sony E-mount (camera) made by RAF Camera. I will optionally sell this adapter *with* the lens for an additional $220. I'll only consider selling this adapter separately from the lens *after* the lens has sold, if the buyer of the lens doesn't want to buy this adapter. Please feel free to send me a direct message if you have any questions.More pictures: https://flic.kr/s/aHBqjAQjh2
  4. Cineovision 18mm T2.8 Cineovision 24mm T1.6 Cineovision 35mm T1.6 Cineovision 50mm T1.6 Cineovision 85mm T1.6 It's important to note that the fronts DO NOT rotate when focusing. Some of the older Cineovision focal lengths rotate when focusing. These do not. The 24, 35, 50, 85 have upgraded circular irises that deliver perfectly circular bokeh when stopped down. THEY ALL COVER FULL FRAME/LF/VV. More pics available upon request. Lenses have been tested on a camera and on a projector. Images look beautiful. Images are sharp and focus marks are dead on. Lenses are PL Mount Full Frame coverage! Optically glass is clean. no haze, no fungus. There are some light cleaning marks typical with the age of the glass, but overall this is one of the cleanest sets I have found. There are no issues that will effect image quality. MECHANICALLY - Like new. Focus and iris are smooth. No image shift. COSMETICALLY - Like New PRICE : $62,000 US Here is a link to the product on our website : https://broadcastsolutions.com/product/cineovision-super-speed-spherical-prime-lens-set/
  5. Hi yall. As title says, I have a couple Superspeed singles available, for those of you who need to replace a broken lens, complete a Superspeed set, or maybe complement a set of Standard Speeds. 25mm T1.3 Mk2 Superspeed: Has some scratches on outer surface of the rear element, but in testing the lens out I have seen no effects on image quality...the lens is still sharp as heck. Only thing that can really be seen in terms of effects is some diagonal streak effects to the flare when a light is shone directly towards the lens. That's it. If you want to get the lens back to 100%, Duclos has some rear elements in stock for 25mm Mk2's, and they quoted me $1500 plus $150 for installation and re-collimation. Aside from these issues with the rear element, the rest of the glass is perfect. Focus ring is starting to get a little stiff so it could use a standard lube job eventually, but it's plenty usable as is for now. 85mm T1.3 Mk2 Superspeed: Optics are pretty much perfect. No problems with the glass whatsoever. Focus ring is quite stiff however, so it could use a standard CLA. Ridiculously sharp lens, tested it out on my Z6 and it's easy to see why it's so loved. Prices: 25mm Mk2 Superspeed: $9000 85mm Mk2 Superspeed: $10000 All prices include shipping and paypal fees. Pics:

  9. Hello, I am looking for a 50mm superspeed mk3 to complete my set. ( s16 ) If anyones has one for sale let me know Best K.
  10. Hello, I'm looking for a super16 lens that would be equivalent to 35mm in 35 format. Preferably I would want either an Optar Illumina or Zeiss 16mm since I have other Illumina lenses and it would match well. I would be open to something a little wider too like a 12mm. If there are no sellers, does anyone know a good source to buy such lenses?
  11. Hello, I am looking for a Zeiss superspeed mk3 , 12mm. Let me know,
  12. Hey All, Selling my lovely set of Zeiss T1.3 Super Speeds. They made 2 generations of the MK2's. This set is the 1st generation of the MK2 lenses. They have exactly the same glass and iris as the latter ones and I believe the same also as the MK3's. - 18mm T1.3 - 25mm T1.3 - 35mm T1.3 - 50mm T1.3 - 85mm T1.3 The lenses have just had a complete service and overhaul at TLS. The 18mm was done a few months earlier so I didn't have it done again. The optics are beautiful. The only flaws I can find are 2 small hairlines on the front of the 25mm, a couple of mm long each. Certainly nothing that would in any way shape or form affect anything of the image. More pictures are here: http://cargocollective.com/raspeir/Z...s-For-Sale-45k The lenses are available to be tested in London, I'm happy to take them to Arri or another local hire company for testing. Happy to ship internationally at buyers cost, fully insured. Or buyers are welcome to collect. Asking £32k gbp - (I'm VAT registered however so will need to charge VAT if within the UK, or will need an ECC VAT number to waive the VAT if within the EU) Contact me on dp@adametherington.co.uk

  14. For sell a Zeiss SuperSpeed 9.5mm T1.3 S16, a great luminous wide angle cine lens. I sell it because i search a zoom instead of primes. Price is 900 Euros + shipping. Regarding the state of the optics there is no mushroom / fungus / dust inside. There are slight "cleaning marks" on the glass, as well on the front and rear element, obviously not affecting the image. But there is no claw or crack on the glass. I bought it for a French DP who took great care. Cosmetically really in good condition, the paint and the numbers / lettering are there. The aperture ring is very fluid, the focus ring is less fluid, a little harder, but it doesen't affect the focus at all, change focus is easy. Super Speeds are among the best Super 16 lens and they have been used on many feature films. The resulting image is still impressive today. This is a test that I realized with the Blackmagic Pocket: https://vimeo.com/129887125 I am at your disposal for any additional questions, optic can be seen in Belgium. The lens is Arri Bayonet mount, also i sell the adapter Arri Bayonet to MFT from Ciecio7 for 90 euros extra. This adapter is one of the best available adapter and is shimmable: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Arri-Bayonet...-/251176724708
  15. Hey guys, a guy in town is offering to sell this set of (heavily used) vintage primes for $2300. He's not sure what they are, they were given to him. They look to me like maybe old zeiss standard speeds, or something similar. Can anyone tell me what they are? Trying to figure out if it would be a steal to snag these. Specs: 28mm t2.2 35mm t2.2 50mm t2.3 75mm t2.2 (see attached image) Thank you!

  17. We’re currently building and kitting out a studio, largely to be used for shooting products. We’re getting an Alexa, but are stumbling on our lens choice, mostly because the budget is not infinite. Our MUST HAVE primes are 35mm, and 50mm. We are looking at CP.2 super speeds – the cost is attractive, but more than that the speed is important – we often open up to f1.4 to knock the set background out of focus (rather than for exposure). I’m concerned about the performance of these lenses - I’ve not used them much - what are they like wide–open (T1.5)? We’re not looking at cinema projection here, TV or digital is where our shots will be seen, so I’m trying to be pragmatic. Am I worrying about nothing? Is there another line (other brands) of fast lenses that sits between Master Primes and CP.2 super speeds that I’m missing?
