WTB Arriflex SR3 800' or 1200' mag

They'll usually do it as a special order, probably with a minimum- it's made in master rolls several thousand feet long. All they have to do is run off longer rolls after it's slit.

I know of some 800ft mags for XTR's for sale, but for SR's they're pretty rare.

I've talked personally with Kodak about making special batches, but they said unless it's a big order, they won't do it.

Most content that looks like a single take, is generally cut somewhere and you never notice.

Yes, I know, but our film would be something more in Belà Tar style. Slow dolly shot through a house. I'll be gluing two- three 400' stocks if necessary:)

There's one here: http://www.visualproducts.com/storeProductDetail02.asp?productID=278&Cat=3&Cat2=38

But sadly not in my price range, I saw one sold in ebay for 150 usd... Missed it.

....that's a good price for such a rare and 'specialist' magazine, but I certainly wouldn't want to run spliced raw stock through a camera.

Spliced film going through a processor would come apart and be disastrous.

You'd have to tell the lab it's spliced, and then you'd lose some heads and tails anyway.
