  1. Here's my recently converted Arriflex 2C to the original N35 2perf format which is Techniscope.Conversion by Daniil Nevsky. I'll post some footage next week.
  2. Not in the UK but someone who knows the Arriflex 16 cameras extremely well. http://cameraservice-bogner.de/ You may want to inquire about sending equipment for service in the EU beforehand. Since Brexit this may be a little more time-consuming than before.
  3. It just wasn’t built for that. There is a capping shutter for the 435 to shoot single frames and back in the day that may have been the Arri camera to go to for 35mm time lapse?
  4. Time to let it go since I just bought some expensive glass. It’ll be painful to part from it but I never really use it. Three speeds two neutral, both tilt and pan. Pan and tilt lock right behind the wheels. Comes in an old case, tripod not included. The tightening knob for a pan handle is chipped otherwise in great condition. £5250 plus VAT if you’re in the UK. Shipping not included. Customs and import fees are the buyers responsibility. Available to ship from October 4th onwards when I’ll be back in the studio.
  5. Does anyone know if the Zeiss CP.3 lenses fit onto an Arriflex 2C Pl mount? They are quite wide just by the PL mount and I'm concerned that the lens will hit the wall of the hand grip. Thanks
  6. A proxy buyer wouldn't be an international buyer, that was my question really. Not to worry, I got curious because of the "cheerfully". Hope you'll find a buyer.
  7. is there a reason why you only sell to US buyers and would "cheerfully" cancel a US buyer who would act as a proxy for a non-US buyer?
  8. Can you post a picture? Grared heads are a thing of beauty. Here is my Mini-Worrall which I've had for a few years now but never really learned to operate properly. Still, it gives me a warm feeling just looking at it ;_)
  9. Does your 35mm camera mirror clear the back of the lens? I know that Super 16mm Ultra primes don't fit onto an Arricam.
  10. It says picture is not available when clicking on your link.
  11. My 2 year-old just kept jumping into the pit. Those moments you can't plan for and I was lucky to catch it. Danke!
  12. The mount centres look identical to the ones on a regular ST. I'm not sure if they re-centered anything. Thanks Robert! Here is a family outing shot in May; I'm getting used to guessing distances and aperture settings. Filming under overcast UK sky on a beach is like having a large softbox with you at all times.
  13. Not necessarily. In the UK the minute prices are: 16mm - £11.5 per minute 35mm 2perf - £22 per minute 35mm 3perf - £34 per minute. It's half way inbetween and that makes a big difference.
  14. Looks terrific Tyler! What wonderful landscapes, breathtaking. Is your scanner giving you a little too much magenta? That zoom is amazing, it doesn't seem to want to stop, hah! I look forward to seeing more, thank you for sharing.
  15. There wouldn’t be enough customers to justify that investment.
  16. If enough people are prepared to pay 1M for it, it is. A Picasso painting is only canvas and paint but some people are prepared to pay millions to own one. As soon as there are enough people with available funds to pay for something that is rare on the market, its value goes up. A 416 was worth 8k six years ago because that is the maximum a buyer would pay, if you could find a buyer. I saw old ebay listings where a 416 went for 4k. Do you think it is worth 4k? It was then.
  17. It is worth as much as people are prepared to pay for it. I sold mine for 13k only four years ago. A couple of months ago I talked to someone who sold a kit for 70k within days of putting it on the market. Now the market seems to be slowing down since I've seen kits on offer for 60 k and no hurried takers.
  18. That someone is Daniil Nevskii. He is converting my Arriflex 2C to 2perf and PL mount at the moment. He's a bit of a camera wizard.
