Hello Sorry if it's a silly question but i'm new to all that ... These lenses from this RENTAL STORE are made for 35mm Film cameras ... right ?? (ARRI Master Prime , ZEISS T 1,3 , ZEISS T 2.1, Cooke S4, Cooke Zoom 20-100mm, Ultra Prime) And also are compatible with Cine PL digital cameras like ALEXA, RED, Canon EOS C300PL etc ... Right ?? But according to this chart ... If I want to use a 18mm lens in the way Kubrick it .. it's impossible with the Digital cameras .. Right ?? And the CLOSEST to that is Canon C300 with 99% !! Right ?? So the Canon C300 is better on that point than the high end ALEXA and AMIRA ?!?! And what is the solution to achieve an 100% result ??? Thank you !!

Hi, I haven't worked with one of these but interested in getting one for my lighting kit. I am used to renting 2k Mole Richardson Fresnel but for my own kit want something that is light weight and more compact. I love Fresnels, but for my needs with a 2k tungsten is to soft bounce or shoot through 4X4, 6X6 and 8X8 most of the time so an open face is just fine. Also I have a limit to how much gear I can have for my own kit to store and transport in my car so I have to be smart about every piece of gear I buy. My main concern older homes with a 15amp circuits with a 2k light and I don't see a lower wattage bulb for this light? Any solutions for this? Also does anyone have some suggestions of another tungsten light that is light weight and compact and 2000 watts?

Hey all, Wondering if anyone could shed some light on something I haven't found a solution for yet: Interface between a WCU-4 and an AMC-1 controller alongside a Cinetape. Do I need something like the L-Cube as well, or is it possible to do it another way entirely? I'm looking at purchasing a Cinetape, but need to know if this is possible with the AMC-1 as I work with it often.

Hi all, I'm starting prep work for my college thesis at Emerson and I'm researching into the different challenges with shooting the project on film. I'm particularly thinking 16mm, just for budgetary reasons, and can't seem to find a Super 16mm camera that shoots up to 300 fps other than scientific/military cameras. The film is about a track athlete, so I'm wanting to get some very beautiful, frozen moment shots of our talent running. Does anyone know of any cameras that shoot as high as 300 fps? I see most of the HS cameras from Arri only go up to 150 fps. Thanks!

Hi I am a Cinematographer on a feature film that we're going to start filming in September on the ARRI Alexa EV camera. We have the SXS cards and can max film in ProRes 4444. My question is, is it worth trying to find faster cards and then film in ARRI raw? Or do I get almost the same quality out of the ProRes 4444. The film is properly going to end up on a DCP 2K or 4K. Hello, I purchased an Arri SR2 Super 16 and wanted to frame for 1.78 viewing. Someone told me that I would need a viewing screen (ground glass) in order to do this, but I am unsure of what this is exactly. Can anyone tell where this ground glass goes on the camera; do I need to have it professionally installed, and do they still sell them? Also, I was also wondering if anyone had any suggestions on a video monitor that records (for playback purposes only) that can connect to my video tap (XC999). Thank you, Walter P.S. Hello, I've bought a used Arri Sr3 Highspeed. It is adjusted to super 16. I haven't used it in a while and I have an anamorphic shoot coming up where I will be using 2x anamorphics. I want to shoot in Normal16 to get the 2,66:1 aspect ratio. Do I have to get through the adjustment of changing the camera's lens alignment, the opening in the universal film gate and the viewfinder alignment in order to convert it to normal16? I lack the tools and the experience to do so. I get that I definately need to do this when adjusting from normal 16 to super 16, but isn't it sufficient to just change the Fibre Optic Viewing Screen in my case? In post I would just have to crop the sides because the Super16 just uses a larger portion of the negative. I won't lose any resolution by going down this road in comparison to adjusting all the mentioned parts of the camera and just have the additional portion of the super 16 frame covered and unexposed in normal16 "mode", right?
