Hi! So I've got a few special lenses I am about to sell, or at least some of them. All of them are in excellent condition. Located in Vienna, Austria / but can send them anywhere you want. So here we go: Leica Leitz APO Summicron R 180mm f2.0 Very rare, and very beautiful. Would make an excellent addition to a Summilux-C or Summicron-C Set. It is in nearly perfect condition. Also this will cover larger than FF, this is an impressive lens & will be especially impressive on formats like Alexa 65 etc. Two very slight marks on the body a minimal short hairline scratch at the front glas - just saw it when having it inspected at the Leica Store. Would invest in a PL conversion in no time if I would have a project for it. Aperture & Focus runs smoothly no fungus no haze. Will be sold by the Leica Store Vienna to a much higher price, beginning in one week or so - so this is the chance to buy directly from me. Make me a realistic offer. Prices on Ebay are 6k-9k €. Iscorama - Anamorphot 1.5x 42 MC Very rare, and very beautiful as well. I don't know how it was possible, but I've got two of them. Just pops up on ebay every few years or so. I'm fine with only having one. In perfect condition. Focus runs smoothly no fungus no haze. Value is hard to tell, since it doesn't get sold very often. I guess around 4-5k €. Iscorama - Anamorphot pre 36 non MC The classic Iscorama everyone is looking for. In very good condition. Just the plastic housing looks a bit grey, but optically excellent. Focus runs smoothly no fungus no haze. 3.5k € Rollei Carl Zeiss Distagon & Planar 1.4/35 & 1.4/85 (FF, triangular Aperture) - Vintage Full Frame Slightly different in coating to the well known Contax Zeiss Lenses (but still match well to them) but their killer feature is the triangular aperture. Like B-Speeds but these are Full Frame. Just got inspected by a lens technician. Excellent condition. Can be easily adapted to EF if necessary. Also have the Rolleiflex 6006 - an awesome 35mm analogue camera, if you are interested in these. Was a quite remarkable system at the time, where you could change the filmstocks, like with medium format bodies. 2.2k € for both lenses Canon FD 55mm SSC 1.2 - Vintage Full Frame I've got the ASPH version as well. Didn't see much of a difference, apart from that this is not yellowing, because it got no thorium in it. This lens is Mint, I wouldn't want to take it in the field :D. 400€ Canon FD 35mm SSC 2.8 TS (Tilt Shift) - Vintage Full Frame Vintage Tilt Shift - so it covers much larger then Full Frame. I was wondering if there was any way to convert a C/Y mount to PL mount without a full rehousing. I would love to have a set of MMJ Contax Zeiss lenses in PL mount but so far I haven't seen little to any information regarding this subject. I know it's possible to convert a C/Y mount to M42 so maybe it would be possible to convert it to M2 first, then screw on an M42 to PL adapter which might work on few C/Y lenses but I know for sure the diameter of the particular Contax lenses I want would be too wide to fit inside of the adapter. And I I know It wouldn't be possible to make the flange of the PL mount adapter flush with the flange of the C/Y Mount because the flange focal distance of a C/Y mount needs to be 45.50 mm from the film plane and a PL mount needs to be 52.00mm from the film plane so in theory would need to remove 6.5mm worth of material from the rear of the lens to accommodate for the difference in FFD (Which wouldn't normally be TOO hard), however of course on majority of the C/Y lenses the aperture ring is pretty much right up against the flange of the mount. I guess I could remove the aperture ring but then what? Maybe someone has any input as to how I could possibly pull this off but I believe I've hit a dead end.

Even though I’ve rented cine lenses (mostly CP.2) in the past and have used others on set, I’ve always owned only still/photos lenses. I’ve always put UV filters (specifically B+W brand) on every lens I have—makes me less nervous about cleaning the glass in the case of a smudge or dust, and if it gets scratched up, it’s easily replaced. Also, I’ve read that UV filters help when shooting film, even though I’ve never noticed a difference with digital (convo for another day). But I’ve just brought two super 16 Zeiss super speed Mk. II which I don’t think have front threads. The fronts have 80mm diameters. Are cine lenses always left bare? Is there any way to protect them besides the lens cap? I like to shoot out in the world (i.e. encountering elements occasionally), so is a matte box the only solution?

I’m collecting a couple lenses for shooting 16 (regular 16 for right now, might end up with super 16 though), most likely with an Eclair NPR. I know there are plenty of lens that have been designed specifically for 16, and those are really the only option for anything really wide and fast, but how about using full frame lenses? For a normal or somewhat telephoto-equivalent FF lens like a modern Zeiss 28mm, will it be sharp having its image circle limited to 16? Or will a lens designed for 16 in particular always be the sharper option? Any tests online? I don’t have the budget for nice modern super 16 lenses, so I can either get modern FF lenses (except for one or two old 16 lenses to over the wide end), or I can get exclusively older 16 lenses. Essentially it boils down to, which is sharper on 16mm: a Zeiss CP.2 or a c-mount Angenieux? New to these forums and 16mm, so thanks for the advice in advance.

Hi Guys, We are a production company based in Geneva, Switzerlan, and we've got a beautiful set of 6x Zeiss Standard Speed T2.1 to sell. Our set is immaculate and we've taken care of. We need to raise fund to buy a new set of lenses, that's why we sell it and we are very sad because we loved those glasses. Everything is perfect with them. The only thing to notice is that the 24mm is not hard PL but Arri B with an adapter. You can see on the pictures that the 40mm has a dust particle in the middle but it does not affect the image at all and it will be clean. Gutted to have to do this, but the doctors have ordered a downsize (for my mangled spine) and I have to move back to a smaller camera and lighter weight primes. So I’m selling my Zeiss CZ.2 Full-Frame Cinema Zooms (in PL mounts): - Zeiss 28-80mm T/2.9 CZ.2 - Zeiss 70-200mm T/2.9 CZ.2 They’re gorgeous pieces of glass in excellent condition. I fell in love with the way they render faces and skintones the first time I used them. The bokeh from the 18-blade apertures is gorgeous, they're terrifically sharp wide-open, and it's almost impossible to coax chromatic aberrations out of them. They’ve served me beautifully on S35mm sensors, but they’ll also make particularly perfect companions for Monster, Alexa LF, Venice or the C700FF (where I think the focal range really shines), or on something like the FS7 with a PL-mount Speedbooster. The lenses are located in Melbourne, Australia, but happy to ship worldwide (PM me for a shipping quote) $13,900 USD each or $27,000 USD for the pair (+GST if sold in Australia). Hi all, I just purchased a set of Oberkochen Opton S16 lenses, all T1.3. Body says: Made in West Germany. From the looks of them, it seems almost like they were never actually used. Now, I can't find any information about these lenses online or how they differ from their newer siblings - or are they even regarded as Zeiss? Furthermore, the set has 9,5mm, 12mm, 16mm and 25mm but is there also a wider than 9,5mm or longer, like a 50mm lens, to be found from that same generation? Thanks in advance, Theo

Condition cosmetically (outer condition) -- Only light marks of use - Light to normal marks of use / see pictures!! <><><><><><><><><><><><><><> Lens General Info: CF 22" // OD 95mm // Weight 4.25lbs There is a good reason Barry Ackroyd chose the Canon 8-64mm T2.4 as his primary lens on HURT LOCKER - it does everything right. Not only is it sharp, has one of the most useful zoom ranges of any lens and has an amazing close-focus, but it also has almost NO FOCUS BREATHING at any focal length. Super-16 zooms are known for their bad focus breathing, and this lens has none at the wide end and almost none at the long end. With a field of view that is roughly equivalent to a 14.5-115mm in Super-35 terms and a close focus that nearly touches the front of the lens, this is the ultimate documentary lens. There is rarely a moment where you feel like you can't get the shot you need or feel like you have to change lenses. Perfect documentary shooting. This lens was designed to cover the Super 16mm format. If you are shooting on a camera with a super-35mm or APS-C sensor like a Canon C300 MKII, Sony FS7 or ARRI Amira, this lens will give you roughly the same field of view of as a 16-128mm lens would give you, which is really useful range. The 8-64mm gives you a field of view range that’s a bit wider and a bit longer than the popular Canon 17-120mm T2.95, and it’s lighter, cheaper, and almost a stop faster. The 8-64mm is a compact, lightweight, 8X cinema zoom lens, with a fast, constant T2.4 maximum aperture over the entire zoom range, with no ramping. This lens seems to have been developed with the documentary shooter in mind. It covers the most commonly used focal lengths, it’s got a fast maximum aperture, it’s extremely light-weight, and it has relatively short focus and zoom rotation, which is ideal for when you are zooming and pulling focus directly off the barrel.
