Premium Member Adrian Sierkowski Posted April 26, 2016 Premium Member Share Posted April 26, 2016 It rained yesterday. I was so frightened I just parked my truck right on 134 where it merges with 5 just waiting for it to pass. People were honking and yelling-- they were also very frightened. I was so sure this was a Phil Rhodes post before clicking through. You, sir, are an American who does irony. Welcome to the language of Shakespeare. JD Hartman
Quote didn't work.... Adrian, on the show, The Colony, they did just that. They drank rainwater and water from the LA river. No one died or got sick. Edited April 27, 2016 by JD Hartman
Premium Member Adrian Sierkowski Posted April 27, 2016 Premium Member Share Posted April 27, 2016 If ever there were proof of suspension of disbelief. . .. Though in truth I am always curious why they don't damn the thing up to catch all that water-- use it as grey-water, perhaps for irrigation. Granted, the cost to build out a whole new water distro system just for that is substantial, but I don't see a good reason why to let it all drain away given the arid environment of LA. Maybe then I could even go fishing!

Premium Member Satsuki Murashige Posted May 2, 2016 Premium Member Share Posted May 2, 2016 I might be heading down to LA this week to drop off some film at Fotokem. If anyone wants to get together for a drink, I'd be down.
