Premium Member Dennis Toeppen Posted May 22, 2020 Premium Member Posted May 22, 2020 I spent my COVID-19 time making this custom case for my Arri 235. It's now ready for combat. Shooting tomorrow. 1

I drove straight through from IL to NM and I'm a little tired still the day after.
Premium Member Tyler Purcell Posted May 22, 2020 Premium Member Posted May 22, 2020 WOW what a beautiful case! Worth the time to make for sure.
Jon O'Brien Posted May 23, 2020 Posted May 23, 2020 How did the shoot go? Not just a great case you made, but what a beauty of a camera. Ahh, sigh, a 235! A dream. That, and an ST and an LT. Yep. Just the thing.
Premium Member Dennis Toeppen Posted May 29, 2020 Author Premium Member Posted May 29, 2020 Update: The supposed all-terrain wagon from B&H Photo is a completely worthless POS. Their definition of all-terrain apparently includes only level concrete and short-pile carpet. On anything other than that, the front wheels often turn sideways and you're stuck dragging it. This is the case because the front wheels have TOTALLY inadequate caster - maybe 5 degrees. They probably need 30-40 degrees of caster to function as desired.
Premium Member Uli Meyer Posted June 2, 2020 Premium Member Posted June 2, 2020 (edited) I've been using my kid's Hamax bike trailer which has a pretty good suspension. I wouldn't take it up a mountain trail but it's great for taking the 235 around the countryside. Or pushing it around the city. Lens, mattebox, filters and batteries are in the back compartment. Premium Member Dennis Toeppen Posted June 3, 2020 Author Premium Member Posted June 3, 2020 Hey, that's pretty cool!
Heikki Repo Posted June 3, 2020 Posted June 3, 2020 Haha, now I know what I'll be doing with our Thule two-seater Chariot (if just my wife allows it!). Should have lots of space for an Eclair ACL ? Great idea!
