  1. I was told everything and met the Dp day before for a beer .
  2. I got the job one day before the shoot via the then film union A.C.T.T . Production were asking for young camera operators and I was certainly young . certainly was young.
  3. Yes thats me . I only was involved with shoot on the roof for one day . The same stock would have been used for indoors and out. Outside using a 85 correction filter bringing the speed down to 64asa.

  5. I was using An Arri BL , Yes on rooftop shooting Get Back , back of my head is seen a few times I was lying down on the floor in the front . Yes 400ft loads . That is all the answers i can give you sorry .
  6. It was shot on 7254 I know this as I was one of the many operators on it .

  10. That would have been Eastman 5247 100 ASA he may have pushed it a stop very common with that stock then.

  12. I have seen this twice now first time Imax 15/70 film print only print in Europe usually my favorite way to watch .In this case oh a dear a very grainy odd looking print not good at all. Second time a 4K DCP on a very large screen looked so much better . Wasn't impressed with the Cinematography run of the mill ordinary stuff. As for the film it was ok lots of silly story lines way to long came away feeling a bit let down.
  13. It was the first stock I had to use when started at the doco. company I worked for. So as David said it was a lowish stock that was then printed onto a Kodachome release print stock . One of the first films I had to shoot was a Medical training film a hip replacement to hold the depth of field I need a stop of about 5.6 I used so much light that blood in the wound started steaming ! Not a great time .
  14. On my opening post I said 80's film references meaning nods to Spielberg and other movies of that era not about the look of this series although I do like the look of it even though it was shot on a Red camera .

  16. Looked very nice .But I have no idea why money was wasted on a remake of a good Don Siegel film.
  17. Cinelab did not have their 65mm line running when Dunkirk was shot it came on line months later .
  18. Episode 3 I thought was a lot better than the first two.
  19. Here in the UK I can watch it on Netflix which I did first two so far not sure about it yet .
  20. Use a 2/5/10 k lamp with a fresnel lamp but remove the lens and you will get the effect you want .
  21. Full cutouts with a few humans moving around in between .
