Hello, I know this may be a long shot, as I'm struggling to find a 16SR3 for sale in the UK, but I am looking for a good condition 16sr3 for sale preferably in the UK. With accessories, on board batteries, chargers, more than 1 film mag would be minimum depending on the price of the item. I'm planning on using the camera for a future project so would be great to hear back from people soon! I am also interested if the item is in other countries inside Europe, but due to shipping costs it would be easier if UK based. Hello, I am looking at buying a 16SR3 within the next two months and have read all the ARRI downloadable manuals and am stuck on which lens would be best for shooting with relatively low light conditions and still have a sharp image and some flare. What has confused me was that I was always interested in the T1.3 Zeiss Super Speeds, but i have been told that these wont work on this camera. But I thought the T1.4 was for 35mm and T1.3 was 16mm. What about the Zeiss CP2 T1.5 super speeds. One last thing is the Zeiss Ultra 16 lenses, I know they work best with the super 16 416 models, but can they also be used with a 16sr3 if converted to super 16. Thank You!!

Hey everyone, I recently purchased a BL4s package in used but decent condition. I'm pretty excited about the camera but so far have not been able to get it to run. The previous owner stated the camera is running and good to go. The motor turns over but then stops right away. I bought the Arriflex 35 book and have been combing through but it doesn't describe this issue. When I plug the battery in (Bescor 12v 14.4ah) I get a quick beep tone. Then when I flip the cam switch the motor kicks but then stops half a second later. More like a quick jolt. The leds come on and I was able to reset the footage counter. I also checked the fuses and none of them appear to be blown. The camera came with a precision speed controller which I tried as well and that does the same thing. If anyone has any advice that would be great. Thanks!

Alright before I continue, let me say... Im not exactly a gear head. Im much more about the feeling, and always say you can make a great film shooting on a toaster if you have the right ideas/script etc. The reason im writing this is because late last year I purchased a Red Epic-W and while Ive been able to shoot some nice content, I keep running into stupid issues with the camera itself. Im not alone actually. Others are constantly complaining about the "green cast" and all sorts of other bugs that you would think wouldnt be present on a "high end" camera. Im just wondering.. did the alexa mini come with a bunch of bugs as well? Maybe this has already been discussed., would appreciate if someone could point me in the right direction. And if not.. What do you prefer to shoot on when it comes to reliability. Thanks

hello all, I'm starting a film next week, shooting with an Alexa mini, UHD, RAW...almost all night interior and on location.. I wanted to pick your brains on LUT packages...is there a series of LUTs you recommend for download or purchase? I have used the built-in LUTs of the Alexa mini before but I want to have a larger selection of display-gamma and colour space for my director on the set...any suggestions?

Or, switch to variable mode (non-crystal) for other speeds. I was told the small 4-pin port is for connecting a speed controller for getting crystal sync at other speeds. Powers from 12V 4-pin XLR connector. Can run forwards or reverse - it has a switch for that. It needs a phenolic gear to connect to the drive gear at the bottom of the camera, but that's included with this motor. The motor has captive screws to attach to your 2C or 3C. You can shoot spherical, or flip a switch and the optics will desqueeze the anamorphic image so you don't have to frame up your image with everyone looking skinny. Hello, I am looking for tripod suggestions for an Arri SR2. I'd like to keep it sub $1,000 because I mainly use it in it's water housing. I only have a kinoptic 5.7mm and an angenieux 9.5-57mm, so no big lenses. It can be used i don't care. I am thinking of an older Vinten or a manfrotto 509 head. Maybe a sachtler if I can find one under 1k. I don't want to make the wrong choice so I came here. Thanks
